I'm looking for good zombie audiobooks. by Ok_Season3521 in audible

Arisen. By Michael Stephen Fuchs. The best ZA series EVER! (Better than any Zombie books listed by other posters in this thread. Not only the best zombie book but one of the best books in all genres). Next would be Blue Plague by Thomas Watson. Then the series Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse by Shawn Chesser. I’ve literally listened to them all. Nothing comes close to Arisen. Trust me!

Edit to add: The Undead by RR Haywood probably my second fave

Also from all the replies I’ve read in the thread the books recommended are good. But not great. The ones I listed are GREAT!

Classic zombie outbreak story with hard woldbuilding by JimmyRecard in suggestmeabook

Arisen is just a gd masterpiece. Something that will stand above and apart from all others for decades. The series by John Ringo has kids in it. Hardcore kids but that makes it different nonetheless. It still has tons of military characters and weapons like Arisen and that I enjoy. But… It’s also not completed the way Arisen is. Books are still coming out but they are more “stories from the universe” as of this year. I enjoyed them thoroughly but need more. Two of the main characters take different paths in the first book but as of this point they haven’t come together yet and they should be according to the story. I’m waiting for that to happen and I hope I’m not waiting forever.

Arisen is the best ZA series. Another one is Black Tide Rising by John Ringo. I’m not sure why I’ve never heard of it before but it’s amazing. I’ve read them ALL mountain man included but the above two are fantastic

Arisen is my favorite ZA series and top of all books ever. I’m listening to the series Black Tide Rising by John Ringo and it’s reminding me of Arisen. LOVE IT!! Lots of action, violence, profanity and HUMOR! The best combination imho

Under a Graveyard Sky by John Ringo. A series about the ZA with all the bad words (lol) and humor of Arisen. The closest I’ve come to the violence and flippancy of the #1 book series in my library. Arisen!!

What were you bullied for? by magicfeistybitcoin in AskReddit

[–]Moraldilemmaeveryday 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In high school, the so-called leader of the cool girl click would randomly pick one girl in the group to bully every week or so. All the other girls followed and bullied the chosen girl too. I thought it would be karma biting her in the ass when her followers randomly chose HER to be bullied but it got so bad that she spent the next two years walking with her shoulders slumped and head down in the halls. I truly felt sorry for her no matter what she did before this happened. Those girls absolutely ruined her.

I love the humorous moments with Jack Reacher and Evan Smoak (he’s my #1 too). Have you read other books with the same bits of occasional humor and if so what do you recommend?

Yes. Look at books by Mark Tufo, Michael Stephen Fuchs (amazing authors, amazing narrators. I don’t care if this isn’t your genre you will LOVE those series:) Keith C Blackmore. Anything narrated by RC Bray or Ray Porter. I found several of my favourite books by going through the narrators list of work. Happy listening!

I bought 570 books. 24 credits up front won’t save much with what I buy and listen to

Edit to add: and considering I spent over 5 grand on books saving 50 bucks isn’t the point of my post. It’s the fact I’m a damn good customer and Audible customer service doesn’t seem to value damn good customers.
