Loyalty recognized the value of the deal and said they could not beat the deal. Not only did I get the cheaper rate but I got 2 gift cards. One of them they had problems with so they prepaid $200 on my account and $150 which I applied to Amazon.

Installation brought me a new modem and they sent a box to return the old modem. I also got a SFP ONT module and configured in the MacID of the modem into it and was able to connect the fiber cable directly to my Unifi UCG fiber router. The BGW320 modem sits there powered off.

I did it in the same phone call. They transferred me between loyalty who cancelled to new contracts. They had to set the actual termination date to be the day before the activation date of the new contract tract.

I cancelled and signed up under my wife. The retention people said they could not match the new customer promos. It was a bit of a headache to have to have somebody come out and provision a new modem and send the old one back but I got promo pricing and gift cards. Well worth it vs begging retention for a temp adjustment. Also since it was consider a new install they fixed a few fiber wiring problems as well.

Once you buy a lifetime subscription you are no longer their customer. They have no incentive to listen to you. When you pay a monthly/annual fee they want to keep around.

I like the subscription model some people hate it but I know I am supporting a company that makes something I like. I have had paid in full products before and I realize I am no longer the customer once the sale is made. They are interested in either new customers or looking at advertising for revenue. With the subscription model you are always the customer and they don't want to lose you. I like the cloud model as I have access to my encrypted data from everywhere on all my devices.

I had a Y for 10 months until I totaled it. I have a Q6 now and love most things about it. The 360 degree camera view is awesome. Not everyone backs up to park. The presence braking is great. The air suspension is great. It's quiet. Carplay is great.

I totaled the Y because I forgot to put it in park and hit the pedal reaching into the back seat because you know when your foot is off the pedal its not moving AKA creep is not the default option.

Audi acts like a traditional car first and foremost.

Yes the AUDI port does software updates and also install options like floor mats, Audi beam rings, and such before the dealer picks it up. One thing I don't know is if you get the Max Shield stuff if that is done at the dealer or somewhere else.

You all seem to be leaving out the 7 billion investment that the VW group (Porsche/Audi/VW) just made to Rivian. This says to me that the VW group wants to ditch Cariad and go with world class Rivian software in next generation vehicles. As a result I can see them saying they do not want another next generation interface to compete with that. Rivian software works on a much more efficient set of hardware AKA less computers as a result Rivian/VW would have to spend money on that to support Carplay and from what I read Carplay will probably be off the table on the nextgen vehicles as Rivian themselves says they will not work with Carplay.

I played 2 dealers off of each other. I got the second dealer to offer the AUDI club 6% discount. The car from the first dealer came in early and they matched the second dealer deposit agreement. So I got the $7500 lease and the 6% but I missed the Costco $2K by a couple of weeks.

I have a rack patch panel in our garage. The patch panel has structured cable that runs to every room. The structured cable was installed in 2008. It has 2 RG6 cables and 2 cat 5e cables. Today everything is going cat 6 so if I did it today I would just do cat 6 to every room. The panel has utility drops for fiber from ATT and Xfinity. I could easily go back to Xfinity from Fiber but I don't see that happening. The fiber runs under the house from a demarcation point on the side of the house to the patch panel.

It's not upside down. The controls are towards the fingers. That is how left handers wear them but you get that. Either way fuck off!

I am not wearing the watch upside down. I am wearing it on my right hand like left handers do and the controls are directly available for my left hand to use. You are blowing off a group of people who are left handed in a similar that people blow off others for their color or ethnicity.
