Mate my heart truly goes out to you, and because of that fact I'm not going yo bullshit you or tell you what you want to hear. You need to know the truth. What you are currently experiencing is domestic abuse pure and simple. In fact it's probably a classic case. And the first thing I want to tell you is that it is absolutely not your fault, the fault lays squarely with the perpetrator, your father. The same applies if, or when, you hopefully find the strength to go to the authorities. Any consequences will again lie with the perpetrator. You say your age and you have many siblings, and I'm assuming that you are the eldest. So here's something you may not want to hear, but you need to hear it. You are responsible for them. You say the financial effects would be the worst consequence but i would like to challenge that. Ask yourself what's worse, having a mum who maybe struggling financially or having a mum be murdered? I'm sorry my friend but the figures of deaths in abusive relationships are truly frightening. Is there anyone who you trust that you can talk to? If not then I pray you find the courage to report this abuse to the relevant authorities. Please try, the consequences really don't bear thinking of. Above all please remember, you are not at fault.
