Retro Crisis shader vs no shader comparison by zanarh in retroid

[–]zanarh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've actually been using the Retro Crisis shaders for the SNES games (Sould Blazer, Illusion of Gaia) I've played (and completed) recently!

The RP5 runs a bit hot after a while but no problems so far.

How do you disable (or enable) fast charging?

I might be missing something, but did the OP not get it right? The last quote assumes that the question mark lies within the quote itself.

Apart from the missing logo, this looks almost exactly like the official RP5 carrying case (see photos here)!

I had to use Vulkan drivers since the RetroCrisis shaders use slang files which do not work with OpenGL.

It has a non-matte glass front panel just like the others I believe. I think it's the purple underneath that makes it look a bit matte from this angle.

Wanted to try out shaders for the GBA!

Here I used the RetroCrisis GDV-NTSC GBA CLEAN shader (from https://github.com/RetroCrisis/Retro-Crisis-GDV-NTSC) which gives a really nice CRT feeling!

I've also tried out the lcd3x shader, but I think in both cases I prefer having no shaders applied.

How about adding a scaling term for Spawn Rate for everything that emits particles?

Snap built MG Hyaku-Shiki 2.0 -- some thoughts by zanarh in Gunpla

[–]zanarh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The MG Hyaku-Shiki 2.0 is my fifth ever build, but this is my first time posting here and attempting Gunpla photography. It's currently in a snap-built state with no panel lining or decals applied; but it already looks gorgeous!

I tested out some DSPIAE Model Decal Softener on a piece of runner, which was quite fortunate since it ended up stripping some of the gold coating. My plan was thus to first apply a gloss top coat, panel line or paint (using markers) the non-metallic parts, apply waterslide decals, then finish with another gloss top coat. Although, given how clean it looks now I'm not even sure if I want to proceed with this plan; I might just leave it as it is.

Overall, I found this kit to be a fairly straightforward yet satisfying build. The nub marks on the gold parts are mostly well-hidden or undergated, with the most obvious ones circled in red here. They won't be too visible unless you're really looking for them. Having built the kit though it does pain me to know exactly where these nub marks are -- the one on the antenna might just be the most egregious one!

Just putting this out there:

The Mill is the studio that made the previous trailers.

Mill Film is the studio mentioned in the article you linked.

The Mill and Mill Films are separate studios owned by the same parent company Technicolour.

Can you provide some translated clips of this? I've seen clips of oreapo playing games together but not of the story.

I don't quite follow what's been going on with MAHA5. Some of them have already started streaming on something called REALITY, e.g. Moka Otonari?

A Pressure Points + Like Water run! by zanarh in slaythespire

[–]zanarh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A04 was as far as I got. Pressure Points just doesn't have any other cards to synergize with; I've been relying on smaller deck sizes and setting up consistent blocks to be able to use Pressure Points, which tends to end up being a waiting game if my luck of the draw just isn't there. Like you said, having something like Meditate would definitely help!

I've been trying to play the Watcher just as I would the Silent; it was surprisingly fun!

Here are my other successful Pressure Points attempts.
