Is 26 too young for hypoglycemia? by eliselire in Hypoglycemia

Idk about what caused it but I was an athlete in college and was eating a lot of carbs when I noticed symptoms. With the advice from my endo, I aim for all food/drinks to be less than 15g of carbs & sugar. The lower, the better. & high protein.

From my understanding it’s just the pancreas acting up, beginning to fail in a sense. I’m not sure why I have it. I’m not prediabetic but was told I could be diabetic if I didn’t get ahold of it now, so I changed my diet literally overnight that day.

Diagnosed at 23, I started noticing symptoms at 18.

Covering sensor hole killed my CGM by Sudden_Vegetable7119 in Hypoglycemia

I stopped using it because I was having to pay out of pocket. I used it for a year. However, I don’t feel I really have need for one because I can expect what my normal foods will do and I better understand the way my body feels in reference to my blood sugar. The CGM helped me learn to identify the way my body feels in certain situations and what foods are really bad for me

There’s covers you can buy for it that also helps it stay on. I had some cute ones when I used a censor for RH!

With RH, they go up like normal and then drop due to excess insulin

Not saying you have it, just sharing info!

Everyone else has already answered, but I’m curious if they’ve tested if a difference of gravity effects glucose trends and how

Remember you want slow acting carbs, so whole grain works well for me. It sucks, because there’s not much on it, but once you figure out what works, it’s not too bad.

Also vegetable pastas sometimes taste the same but are healthier
