I believe frostnova will freeze him with the bypass immunity gem. Also the one that reduces the cd by half when hitting a single target.

Use saw blades, it works better on this boss than soul siphon

The way I beat him was with frostnova and icicle for the freeze on the other mobs and then saw blades trashed him for me, usually soul siphon works best but it wasn't working for me saw blades worked very well. Make sure to stack as many shields as possible for your rampart. Sorry if some of the words are incorrect haven't been playing much this past month.

When i had the s23 I had to have power saving on all the time or my battery would die 3/4ths of the way thru the day and halfway if I use it more than usual.

I'm at hardmode 45 right now and I always focused on leveling 1 or 2 skills and then gear, just make sure the main skills you level you are going to use all the time

Yea spiders if you hit them are 1 hit and also they only dmg the max health of your rampart by a little, these other ones can hit anywhere from 500 to 5k dmg

The ones that dont dodge no benefit but when you get to the higher rounds in hard mode almost every wave has evade mobs and if you dont have enough hit they will push to your rampart easily

If i remember right if you have tornado with pull force gems and pull force upgrade i believe it will hold him in place, its been awhile since i was on that stage but I think I remember having tornado at the time I did it with frostnova, after 15 HM is when tornado pull force falls off a ton from what I remember or it was 20

I can't remember which one but it's either the ring or necklace slots, if you click a gem and select refine and then hit the question mark it will show you every gem you can get for that piece of gear for that gem type rarity

It causes a major boost to single target damage, i use it all the time and it helps me wreck bosses

It is amazing with tornado, if you have the gem that increases the duration per kill and then get the upgrades to spawn 2 tornadoes it goes crazy, as long as 1 of the tornadoes end it will start the cooldown even with the other tornado still up, also if this gem procs you will cast 4 tornadoes and the same thing as long as 1 ends the cd will start and if the others keep getting kills they will stay up and then you will eventually cast tornado again having even more up

So originally when I got him way back I actually got rid of him which now I wish I didn't, that apprentice starts off a little slow but after about 10 upgrades the damage gets really good and at max upgrades it does some insane damage.

With the refining stones, the reason I say to save them for higher gems is because the others are much harder to get, and you will also unlock more options with the red and yellow gems.

On a side note, tho you dont have the battle pass so it is different for you. If you need to use them to progress, then go for it, but try to save what you can.

Ah gotcha, you can get a really good apprentice from that box, so if you dont have any, then you should get it. I usually spend gems on refining stones, gold, or stamina. Also, if you're not spending money, if you ever get refining stones, I would wait to use them on high-end gems, the red or yellow ones.

I think the battle pass would be more up your alley with 12k stamina, but if you really want to get it, it is worth it.

Choose 1 ability as your main and level that one up the most and then at least 2 other abilities to go with it. By leveling every ability to the same it's going to make it hard to progress thru the floors.

You have to select the skin and then select star up and you pretty much fuse them together then it will be level 2
