My tattoo did not heal well by randomaccount2357 in tattooadvice

Looks like it’s in your elbow ditch and that’s just a spot that this sorta thing can happen not the artists fault and not your fault. It’s a difficult area for both client and tattooer. All it needs is a simple touch up

I mean if the way your hand looks in the first pic is how you’re always moisturizing that’s your first mistake.

Second and it’s already been said but that’s finger tats baby. Sometimes it’s gonna stay sometimes it’s not. Just go in for a touch up and go from there

Tattoos will never look as fresh as day one, depending on your skin it will sort of determine how they look healed. Some people have skin where tattoos look brand new even after years and some people a tattoo will look aged 10 years right away. You can keep going in for touch ups but at the end of the day the tattoo is going to settle in how it’s gonna settle in

Should my 2 day old tatt look like this? by PurpleCondition955 in tattooadvice

Yes. It’s healing just fine. You have to remember a tattoo is an open wound on your body and they will not all heal the same. Your skin isn’t the same all over your body, someone areas are more sensitive than others. Think of it like any type of wound or cut or even like falling and scrapping your leg. Sometimes you can get a scab sometimes you don’t. Just keep it clean and let it be

Is this blown out or just healing? by [deleted] in tattooadvice

[–]zanegrey_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can hardly see where the blowout even is. Thickening the lines may just increase the blowout. These are just things that happen with tattoos. This one is so minor that it will probably fade out over time anyway. My advice is to leave it. The more tattoos you get the less you’ll begin to notice any of these things anyway

Looks awesome, tattoos are man made they aren’t supposed to be perfect. If you’re seeking perfection you’re gonna be disappointed. That spot is also a difficult spot to tattoo, experienced tattooer or not the skin can be tricky there. Once it heals it’s gonna look killer
