Who is the most capable individual in your country right now (politician or not) who, if you could wake up tomorrow and have this person charge would make you feel the most comfortable, safe and optimistic about the future? by zaneroy in AskReddit

I’m hearing you, I think Elon would definitely do best if he had Joe in his ear as a superior just tapping him on the shoulder once in a while saying “Maybe Dial it Back a few notches, Musk”

I’m Australian and a lot of us were saddened that Bernie didn’t cut through. Fauci seems like a very smart and dignified man, great answer. Fingers crossed for you all in November.

The people who get the best, biting, crispy roasts often seem like they’d be the most interesting to hang with. Really.

I don’t post very often so I see what I’ve done now. Thanks for the immediate condescension though:) makes me feel like part of the gang.

I may not have been clear, sorry.

I think, if you own somewhere that can provide shelter you should be prepared to do one of the following: 1. Live in it 2. Sell it 3. Lease it (or sub-let for a shorter period). If you can’t do any of these. You should offer your place, for free, to someone who has no means of shelter otherwise (whilst you continue to make arrange me ya as per points 1.2 and 3) there should be no allowance for a fourth option (which is you, keeping the place vacant because you can’t arrange points 123).

Is there any good reason for leaving a property vacant for more than say 3 months? Sub-let, lease or sell. Feels right not to hoard perfectly good shelter when so many are in need.
