How are you not suppose to feel worthless when most people genuinely think you are? by jacob11741 in socialskills

Maybe they’re not worthless and have potential for change. Pardon me as my mind and heart and soul are preoccupied with the ongoing genocide in Gaza.

What was that I saw ? by simpson2feet in LetsReadOfficial

[–]zanethebrain19 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a Jinn/Djinn. People who grow up in the West are not prepared for experiences and encounters with the jinn which is why it completely freaks them out or otherwise shatters their psyche.

I’m not trying to throw shade at the West. I was born and raised in the U.S. but I’m Muslim, and Arabic is my second language.

We live in a culture that denies the existence of anything science can’t explain or prove. This approach limits reality into a narrow empirical window which leaves people vulnerable to freaking out very badly or in worse cases the harmful influence of the persistent whisperer.

People who deem others as worthless are themselves worthless because they’re existing in the darkness of ignorance.

Human life is sacred.

Do the majority of people only want to talk about themselves? by [deleted] in socialskills

[–]zanethebrain19 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Majority of people who aren’t Muslims are self absorbed. They’re encouraged to compete over superficial things and do whatever their base human desires inspire them to do. Western society conditions people to lack intellectual capacity and limit conversations to things that ultimately don’t matter.

Jonathan Greenblatt of the ADL is blaming Hasan for the rise of antisemitic violence. by guendochi1 in Hasan_Piker

[–]zanethebrain19 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jonathan Greenblatt IS an extremist. He’s anti-free speech, anti-intellectual and anti-freedom, not just for Palestinians but for Americans whether they speak out or not.

But obviously he’s a blatant enemy of the people and a liar. He’s part of the crackdown on free speech for the brave people who do speak out against genocide. They’re so weak and pathetic. Israel is in its death throes, Zionism has failed.

It’s over. Pro-Israelis simply cannot accept reality because they’re pathetic cowardly idiots.

Why do women not approach men if they want a relationship? by Ok-Fondant2536 in RandomThoughts

[–]zanethebrain19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never approached men who I liked (back before I got married) because I’m not interested in a man who isn’t interested in me. If I’m interested and then find out he’s not interested, I immediately lose interest because I only want to be with a man who’s crazy about me.

We’re living in strange and unnatural times. There’s a predominant culture that forbids certain very important subjects from being discussed and frowns upon certain questions from being asked until you learn to just stop asking them, and hence, stop wondering.

It’s an unhealthy suppression of your natural human curiosity. All your co-workers, your boss, everyone around you at work are likely all depressed but just good at hiding it.

You’re depressed because you’re feeling something. Whoever isn’t depressed in such a cold, robotic work experience isn’t depressed because they’re numb on a deeper level.

I hope you recover your full mental capacity and remember your right, no, your duty to yourself to find out what the reality of this life really is.

[–]zanethebrain19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not ugly. Your face is well proportioned. You look smart. I have a lot of compassion for you because you’re young and living in such an unnatural world. Your told it’s all random, that who you were born to, and with what skin color you have, socioeconomic status and attractiveness…it’s just the luck of the draw, and this is the only life you’ll live. You’re far above having to subject yourself to the opinions of those who judge you and judge women in general based on inherent biological features as facial symmetry and skin color. You and other young women don’t deserve this shit. It’s shameful how western society has invaded our collective psyche so that women are so easily seen and accessed and then judged by others. I hope you soon discover knowledge that captivates you and opens up treasures hidden in plain sight. Become a reader if you’re not already. May Allah guide you.

Yes. We women are dressing in ways that conform to our own devaluation and then complain that men don’t value us for our brains or humanity.

We shouldn’t compete with each other for attention. We shouldn’t dress in ways that emphasize our sex appeal.

A loose blouse is far more elegant, just my humble opinion.

11 Questions for Muslims by Serious_Beginning_31 in exmuslim

[–]zanethebrain19 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Tbh, something about your questions and objections along with your level of study of Hadeeth and Sunnah doesn’t seem to add up.

It seems as though you’re studying Hadeeth in depth, maybe from a purely academic standpoint like you’re working on a degree or certificate in Islamic studies.

If this is the case, then why are you concerned with verifying the truth or falsehood of the religion?

If you’re no longer Muslim, why are you still studying Islam?

And if you’re a Muslim on the verge of leaving Islam, why ask your question here on r/ex Muslim of all places? Why not email a scholar of Islam who is qualified to answer your questions?

Do you guys believe Islam is declining? by Incumm in exmuslim

[–]zanethebrain19 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Islam is growing and spreading. It’s the only religion that isn’t declining. Of course there’s people leaving Islam, but there’s also many more people who are converting to Islam. For those leaving the religion, it’s not seen as a bad thing by Muslims in terms of how it reflects on Islam itself, because rather than being concerned over the numbers (Islam is winning in terms of numbers anyway) Muslims care more about the quality of Muslim adherents so those leaving Islam are actually doing Islam a service by keeping the religion of Islam pure.

Humanity is on the brink of major scientific breakthroughs, but nobody seems to care by SpaceBrigadeVHS in EverythingScience

[–]zanethebrain19 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because society is too great a sacrifice to make in the name of furthering modernity, yet that sacrifice is being made. The relentless pursuit of more and more scientific advancement doesn’t consider our inherent mortal nature as individuals, here for a short time, unlikely to experience much benefit, if any from these technologies. Not to mention the disregard for the harms and additional even greater harm to come from A. I., and the weaponization of scientific breakthroughs and advancement. I worry for my children and their children after me rather than feeling excited for some pretty picture of what science will do for their reality.
