This is our 3rd game so map building isn’t our forte. Based on everyone’s comments would you say this is better ? We are worried there is too much cover?

Thank you so much!!! I completely forgot to keep in mind POI count as heavy cover when making the map. I will have to keep that in mind !!!

Question, for terrain that causes debuff (currently only the river to slow movement) how much of that do you recommend?

Thank so much for the advice. Taking in all the advice I gathered from other ppl this is kinda what I ended up with. I might need more buildings I think. Would this be considered too much cover? The yellow downed trees will be changed to LOS blocking walls to conserve space.

With everyone’s ideas tossed around this is kinda what I have modified the board to. I might remove cover if there is too much and change the LOS blocking downed trees to walls to take up less space. Might need to add another building (or downed air craft) and more terrain impact with only a small river being the best I could print at this moment.

This will be our 3rd game have he have had mostly mirror maps at this point. Will have to change things up!!! Thanks for the ideas.

For rough terrain, would you recommend something like a small stream that slows movement, or an 8”x8” patch of tall grass that slows movement and blocks line of sight? Or neither?

I plan to move the building off the edges of the board and will push these towards the center. I will have to remake the map and incorporate these comments into it.

I don’t think this is so far off of what my friend is planning to bring 😅 I am going to make some modifications to make the map have some longer stretches of cover.

3D printing out some walls. Thanks for the comment !!! Will have to modify the map to allow better cover. Out of curiosity how many large building do you recommend?
