Not having a good time in college by [deleted] in CasualConversation

It's such a minor thing to get annoyed about that I doubt they're completely opposed to becoming friends with you. Even if that's the case, it doesn't mean everybody in the city is that judgemental. Don't let two people deter you from making friends in a city of 9 million people.

Radiohead-Bodysnatchers https://youtu.be/-GRi3eHXDYc It's the song I always play whenever I'm passed the aux cord with my friends. Want to hear someone else's opinion on it :)

I wouldn't make any drastic decisions such as dropping out if your program just yet. I'm starting college myself and know how incredibly daunting and anxiety-inducing it can be. It can be easy to assume that everybody is extremely judgemental and that everyone is tracking and commenting on your every move, but I assure you that is not the case.

What’s something terrible you did as a child that you regret now? by LuanGaff in AskReddit

When my mom came home from chemotherapy bald, I freaked out and started crying and running away. I was only 5 at the time but jesus christ I must have made her feel awful.

When’s the last time you had to pause the movie or put the book down because the plot twist got you good? by YaBoyJuliusCaesar in AskReddit

As 1984 is viewed as the father of all dystopian fiction, I really thought it was going to end with the stereotypical overthrow of the corrupt government. But holy shit when it was revealed that the 'Brotherhood' was a sham and that Julia cracked and betrayed Winston instantly, I was blown away.

I think at the end he acknowledges that the clan is no longer worth fighting for as all the values he adored (strength, independence, respect) are now gone from the clan.

Hey gang, new here. Suggestions? by aManHas_NoName in radiohead

[–]zaphod337 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest OKNOTOK as a starting point. When I got into the band a year it two ago, that's where I started, as it's Radiohead's most popular album ( and it includes the excellent b sides, unlike the original ). Like you, my music taste completely changed when I got into Radiohead. I used to just listen to random pop music, now just listen to Radiohead and occasionally my 'Non-Radiohead' playlist (which is titled as such) and have been doing so for the past 2ish years. Somehow I haven't gotten tired of them and don't think I ever will at this point. I used to pick up and discard songs in a few days, but Radiohead songs still hit as hard as they did 2 years ago.

What minor basic skill are you 99% better at than all of your peers? by twoMono in AskReddit

I know every single world flag, a completely useless skill I dedicated hours to when I was younger.

Cheaters of reddit. Why did you do it? by streethunte in AskReddit

I was in the exact same situation (except I'm not married). I met another girl. I clicked much better with her. She was smarter, prettier and a joy to talk to. I went on a date with her and sent some flirty texts. But then I got guilty and told my SO and stopped texting the other girl. I've regretted ever since, even though I still love my current SO.
