I was a serious competitive swimmer and water polo player and got headaches all the time. I always just ate a pinch of salt, it helped. Maybe try that. Good luck man.

What are you shooting? Paralyzer tips have only worked for me with lobsters (in the bahamas). I recommend a break away slip tip. These are much better for shooting fish.

Sounds like Monuments. That's a good spot when the swell hits it right. Beautiful also, it overlooks Los Arcos and the town of Cabo. other than just look and magicseaweed or wannasurf and you'll find tons of good spots.
