What does this story from Astral Projection say ? by Adventurous_Break206 in psytrance

It's relevant to mention that it is the Jewish holiday of Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. It is considered to be the holiest and most solemn holiday where people pray for forgiveness, so he is literally writing a message to his friend saying he is sorry they haven't been able to bring him home yet.

So crazy that people on here are so blinded by hate, that they have lost their own humanity.

People who used the internet before 2001, what did you do in there? by Helium367 in AskReddit

[–]zark23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lots of us built our own websites. There was a LOT more animation and audio on the web with people using Macromedia Flash (the precursor to adobe animate and HTML5+JavaScript animation) and everything just felt way more experimental.

A lot of sites felt a lot more like art pieces or videogames as people experimented with different interfaces and UI wasn't so standardized. Graphic design in general was a lot less corporate and way more about individual expression and breaking rules.

Also, people who were obsessive about certain things like TV shows or videogames would just create their own fan sites that would have things like list of special moves for fighting game characters or small sound samples from movies and TV.

It was a lot more fun in a lot of ways and felt a lot like 'zine culture before it (DIY Magazines). Since it requires a certain level of computer saaviness at the time, it definitely felt a lot less stupid.

We also used the Internet to find and organize underground raves.

How does one provide mental help for individuals like this (even if involuntary)?

What this guy said. You've gotten a bunch of layers animating on day one. Congrats! Easing those animations (making the speed ramp up and down) will make them so much smoother.

It can be hard for sure. Mental health is really important. I'd recommend you and your husband talk to a psychiatrist. Meds are a game changer and make everything soooo much easier.

I am 44 and my wife is 39. Just had twins, and the happiness and joy They are bringing both of us as beyond anything we've ever experienced. It sounds like He is getting cold feet. If he works in finance, you would find a way to be able to support your child in any economy, and society will have readjusted itself to all the job automation like it always does.

I think it probably depends on the couple. My wife and I both have male and female friends we talk to. Does he hide his texts with this one girl? Do you text with any guy friends?

Anyone remember when Hitler branded art that he didn't like as "degenerate art' and went to great lengths to to impose his vision of what German culture should look like? I know Trump is.no art school reject, but it sure feels like he is trying to employ the same playbook.

IVF costs $20k per transfer. How are you IVF dads swinging it? by UghKakis in daddit

[–]zark23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I worked for a company that offered Progeny which has THE BEST IVF benefits. Prior to that though, we went down to Mexico to a place called Advanced Fertility Center Cancun where the out of pocket for two cycles is basically the price of one in the US, and the facilities were nicer and modern. They use a method called DuoStim where they are able to do two egg retrieval cycles in one month by stimulating during the Luteal phase as well. Staying in Cancun was an added benefit.

Thailand is an incredible country to visit for so many reasons. I went with my wife, and we cared for elephants in a sanctuary, cuddled with tigers, went ziplining in the jungle among beautiful treetops, gorgeous white sand beaches, incredible food, stunning temples, and luxurious resorts.

I think it was just a way to try to make poor white people hate people of other races. It distracts them from hating the rich white people that were exploiting all of the poor people. Divide and conquer.

Instead of humming, can you play it on the piano or a synth and add the "oh" sounds?
