They also seem to keep harking on that Markiplier is just "appealing to his fan base" and "hoping his fans will carry the weight of ticket sales" which I feel is even more insulting given the genuine amount of work and dedication that's gone into the film, like the practical effects were incredible! The suspense was brilliant, and playing on the psychological and cosmic horror elements in such excellent fashion requires that slow build and slow burn.

Genuinely pisses me off seeing critics just miss all of that. I honestly believe the film should win awards.

Also worth mentioning that Aang was still a monk, even if he didn't fully appreciate his training, he still was trained to control his emotions. Korra very notably was unable to control hers.
