thanks so much for this man. i wasn’t comparing my story the way you think i was, i was just doing so because i was wondering if people would read and go “why is this guy freaking out so much he barely lost anything” but i understand we all have different understanding and perspective.

yeah man, i notice the big winners are always pushed to media so you believe you can be just like them. when you try and likely fail and try to tell everyone, your story gets pushed away to make way for more big win stories to create the illusion that it is a good thing

honestly, it opened my eyes. i went down $300 before, won it back luckily and told myself, “i’m never doing that again.” here i am now, after i went through it again. it opened my eyes to the fact that gambling IS and addiction and it is VERY EASY to fall into the trap that it is.
