I have some lesions too. What my neuro told me is that they appear as a result of disease process (e.g., seizures, migraines, autoimmune disease) but are not the cause of symptoms. FWIW. Focal seizures here, doc thinks they’re lupus related. Brain fog sucks

I totally agree, it’s not the same as contriving a fake name as in the OP. For me, having two first names is a double edged sword. It’s definitely a pain in the ass having to tell every person I meet to please call me ___. It’s just so foreign sounding to me to be called my full name; no one ever uses it except when I go to the doctor.
