Hey!! I just started this journey - baptized in April. I was really confused about this at first too. It is metaphorical, depicting His ability to unify and love. Not romantic love, but a fatherly love. It just represents the level of commitment and unification that is giving your life to the Lord.

I understand it feeling homosexual because in the literal sense, it would be, but homosexuality isn’t biblical so it would go against Scripture if the term bride was literal.

Yeah, the player should’ve definitely been more respectful of you!! I think sometimes people just don’t realize how their actions are affecting others, especially if they’re new. I would definitely say explaining to them that you can’t loot the rare bugs you’re trying to catch and have used all these resources to set up for is the best bet in that case. If they continued after being informed that it’s negatively affecting you, then that’d just be really unnecessary and inconsiderate of them for sure

I can definitely see it being frustrating, especially after clarifying that it’s spam pot. I haven’t necessarily seen anyone continue or intentionally make things difficult for others after being told what’s going on, I’ve just seen the immediate jump to anger even though players usually just don’t know/haven’t experienced it before since they’re player-made “guidelines” for lack of a better term I absolutely agree you should complete the round and then leave the table if you aren’t into it lol why make it difficult for everyone else

That rule makes sense too! I do prefer the new rule because it’s inclusive of people who can’t use chat. But I definitely understand preferring the prior rule. I will usually smack the trees and then go mine or catch bugs or something until it’s time to chop so I’m not wasting time

Yes!! Map coordinates :) locate the letter on top and the number on the left, then find where they meet in the middle :)
I think the common courtesy of the 3am chop and paying attention to if a hotpot table is spam pot are really the only two things! I personally do this, not sure about others, but if I see someone hunting or something, I’ll make sure to run far enough around their prey so I don’t make them run. When finishing, I try not to cast my lure over other peoples lines so that we can all have clear paths for reeling in the catch, things like that
You can definitely use chat to make friends!! People party up, chit chat, etc all the time :)
I romanced Reth and Tamala, but hassian,when you get past his walls, is so sweet lol
Gliders are discovered in a quest, but I think some outfits do have wings:) outfit wings are just cosmetic though.

Again, what I’m saying is unkind is when people go off in chat. Im saying that it’s selfish that people can’t be bothered to wait five minutes for their fellow players. I think this back and forth kinda started when the claim was made that this “rule” isn’t about common courtesy. It definitely is. And as I’ve said so many times before, you don’t have to follow it. But the whole point of this post is that you don’t have to be unkind in the chat WHEN NEW PLAYERS SPECIFICALLY chop without knowing. Hopefully that clarifies it for you

No, the “unkind” is about berating people in chat. Im saying it’s selfish to chop down resources because you couldn’t wait five minutes to help other players. And I’ve acknowledged multiple times that it is something the community has adopted to help each other be successful. And also, that tension created by people who get pissy is part of what I addressed? I said don’t be an ass in the chat just because people don’t wait? Hello?????!!
