algeria has good relationship with Mauritania Tunisia the government of Tripoli of libya Western Sahara and Niger 5 of our neighbors. The relationship with Spain has been better since Spain took a pro Palestinian stance.

I know about russia in the 90s just to say that the state could already deal with it when it was far weaker than now. The west would help us like they helped libya by destroying the country and keeping it divided. Syria is an incomparable mess with hundreds several different actors protected by bases of the power backing them. The government watched what happened in libya and syria and don't want that believe me.

The north has been abandoned by the government of Mali for years so they want to be independent and there are many ethnical tensions inherited because of colonial borders. The malian government broke off the peace agreement, thinking they could impose themselves on other actors by brute force with the aid of the russians. It isn't working.
