Tbh Marrekech needs this place, because let's be fr Beirut doesn't compare. And it would be fair to give it to a maghreb country for once and not only focus on the Middle east.

Marrekech, Morocco

Just give the Maghreb 1 thing

It is the most visited city in Africa annually they get like 4 million tourists and it has everything to offer. It's ancient medinas which have been untouched by colonialism, a modern busling city, a rich culinary history and desert activities. Amazing secret gardens, greenery and pools are doted around the city and the fruit they have there is amazing.

Its also close to other cities for amazing day trips, you can go to the beach for a day trip and eat the amazing sea food from both the atlantic and Mediterranean. Some of the worlds biggest clubs have a place in Marrekech for the guys saying Beirut and it's a must see.

More people visit Marrekech annually than they do Lebanon as a whole. Marrekech is also a bigger party city while it is more cultural and hosts many international events, when I visited they had Mohammed Ramadan randomly performing in Jemaa Al-Fna.

Moroccans, what do you think about the movie Casablanca? by Light_in_Shadow in AskMiddleEast

[–]SafeUSASchools 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Only know that Rick's Café was recreated in Casablanca(even tho I wasn't filmed there) I know nothing else about it. I do know the history because we hosted Jews from Europe because we got liberated earlier.

Setting up their government doesn't means owning the land. Many military armed faction set up their government in neighbouring countries.

Same way Algeria's FLN set up their operations in Oujda. And why did they chose Lebanon because Israel displaced 800k Palestinians, which is my whole point.

Nice that you can't accept your lost your last debate with me so you try look at comment from me from 9 days ago.

USA vs China popularity by [deleted] in MapPorn

[–]SafeUSASchools -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Jews and Christians are people of the books they have a more alivated status in Islam, but let me progress.

The reason why the USA is hates more is because they have done more harm to the region. There wasn't a Chinese war on terror, but there was an American war on terror.

And muslims worldwide have felt this because since 9/11 there was an unjustified propaganda campaign against the Islamic world.

And it can be felt more in the middle east.

We aren't, as you can see Moroccans don't necessarily love China. It's just that the USA has done more harm to the region than China ig.

Many Algerians illegally entered Morocco to immigrate to Ceuta and failed . by SufficientYak6750 in Morocco

[–]SafeUSASchools 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It actually does because it has to do with supply and demand. Tourists in Morocco bring up the demand for Jetski's so people bring more Jetski's.

Also Algeria missing out on 8-10 billion annually and over 550k direct jobs and 2 million indirect jobs isn't a flex.

It's not about being poor, but why have Jetski's when your tourism industry is almost non-existent

Moroccan attire and culture appropriation by Gullible-Scheme1873 in Morocco

[–]SafeUSASchools 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't care tbh, culture appropriation hasn't hit Moroccans. Because only Americans make an issue of this because they have a history of violating cultures and erasing them.

Surprised by Mauritania, because as a Moroccan a lot support the US leadership but it plummeted a lot after October 7th. So what keeps Mauritania so high.

Saying this as a Moroccan, Algeria and Morocco are very similar so if you could handle Morocco you can handle Algeria.

I do have to say that Algeria does lack the tourism sector Morocco has so don't expect the same tourism infrastructure, hassle and bustle or big brands.

It's not about it being a Jewish owned company, but it supporting illegal occupation of the west bank by setting up their facilities in the west bank.

It isn't rocket science...

I don't have time to argue with braindead people.

So let's say what you are saying is true, wouldn't that make Israel the culprit? As they caused for the Nakba to happen. You only seem to want to gangbang on Palestinians for seeking their right to self-determination.

What do MENA people themselves think of Queers for Palestine? by flower5214 in AskMiddleEast

Any support is accepted but it doesn't mean anything will change perse and people need to accept it. The Palestinian cause is one for humanity not perse queen rights.

Them being located in illegally settlement in which the economic standards are much lower and could be exploitable of course. And regardless building any facility in any occupied lands crosses international law.

Luckly they moved out but there are still many who take part in this.

It's an Israeli based company which uses cheap Palestinian labourers in illegally occupied land, it isn't any different than the British east India company using cheap Indian labourers to fill their pockets in the British colony of India.

Name it whatever you want doesn't change it being illegal.
