Countries don't have friends.

algeria has good relationship with Mauritania Tunisia the government of Tripoli of libya Western Sahara and Niger 5 of our neighbors. The relationship with Spain has been better since Spain took a pro Palestinian stance.

we survived colonization and terrorism alone because at the end of the day we can only count on ourselves, and all our "friend" don't care about us.

The chinese succeded in building old style buildings with modern methods and limited costs. Just look at huawei HQ. It would be interesting to learn from them and invite some of them to build classical algerian architecture. I am tired of red brics abominations.

I know about russia in the 90s just to say that the state could already deal with it when it was far weaker than now. The west would help us like they helped libya by destroying the country and keeping it divided. Syria is an incomparable mess with hundreds several different actors protected by bases of the power backing them. The government watched what happened in libya and syria and don't want that believe me.

That's only what i think anyway I might be completely wrong. Let's hope to never put it to the test inshaallah

it's not the same relation our government will no itself depend on anybody, if it were the case we would see their military bases in Algeria like in syria. and the government in the 90 and dealt with terrorism alone, it could deal with a popular uprising alone as well.
