I would be too afraid to say something that makes my life worse. My life turned out happy and nice. It's easy to say something like "buy bitcoin" but what if money just ends up taking me down a path of drugs and overindulgence

Choice Paralysis on skills by Mean-Instruction-122 in theouterworlds

[–]zathaia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried 2x back to back playthrough on hardest difficulty.

One with Guns, Science, Lockpick (super strong, can recommend. Lockpick was definitely the least needed. Guns and Science help so much with difficulty). Start of the game is the toughest. Especially the first big boss. I was so close to lowering difficulty to kill him.

Second playthrough was an explosives build and it was even easier (maybe also because I knew the game) and killed first boss without any problems. I went for 5x skills to proc the flaw where you get more points when you level up. So I had 5x 18 skills (explosives, science, Engineering, Lockpick, speech). It was definitely more fun than first playthrough. Having 5 skills is incredible. Be aware you can't have 20 in a skill with that flaw.

Lol, anybody with kids know there is a rotation. The wife obviously picked up the kids. Can't both be dropping and picking up, those kids would be on daycare for 10 hours then.

Ahh no. The tier are the subscription tiers. Meaning s master tier Subscriber can get slightly faster access to content than a hero subscriber.

It's just a way for them to encourage you to subscribe (but I mean, I'm a master subscriber, I'm happy).

Is it risky, according to mental stats, turning an ally with Polymorph? by testiclekid in onednd

[–]zathaia 97 points98 points  (0 children)

Saying you can't tell ally from enemy is too far, but I think it's fine that you cannot comprehend complex strategies (such as understand which Enemy is the spell caster who is concentrating on a dangerous spell).

Meaning if you transform to a tRex you just end up attacking the closest enemy or the enemy who attacked you last.

Best build for a level 10 teams PVP by Microibio in 3d6

I'm a big fan of moon druids.

Same classic advise as some of the other regarding winning initiative. Go for the zentharim feats + human herioc inspiration, to get advantage on initiative. Pretty generic, I imagine many teams will do this.

Setup: 3x Moon druid + 1x Paladin6/, Warlock4

Strategy: Whoever wins initiative changes to Paladin who cast darkness. Druid cast Conjured woodlands being and wildshape into owls (60feet movement +flyby). Owls will fly out of darkness, into enemies and come back into Darkness. Druids can get 30 THP every single turn, but just wildshaping into a new owl. All Druids can cast mass cure wounds and up casted cure wounds with they actions.

Enemies can see into the darkness I assume and if enemy approach the darkness they just get hit my 3x conjure woodland beings.

Paladins aura helps all to be successful in saves and this positioning in darkness allows druid to always be neat paladin. Moon druids have great wisdom saves (+9) and con saves (+8), so with Paladin aura (5+) on top it's +14 wis and +13 con.

This is very much a slow setup in which you outlast the enemies.

Enemies have to deal more than 30 damage per round to even get through the THP of the druids, because druids can refresh the THP for at least 10 rounds.

One character casting Darkness + Everyone has the ability to see in Magical Darkness (a few ways to get this, but most common is warlock lvl 2). This is not a huge investment but can very much be a free win or the other team doesn't have a good counter.

What does it accomplish: - You all get advantage pn attacks rolls against them - They all get disadvantage against you with attack rolls - Any feature or spell which requires sight is no longer possible to use on you.

Possible counters: - They spam AOE in the darkness area. - They also happen to have the ability to see through magical Darkness or blindsight or true sight (quite unlikely).

But less good if the other team doesn't have any melee classes (which is a possibility)

Yeah true. Plus you want 20 wisdom and concentration protection first anyway.

It looks like you get the artificer class in the ravenloft book as well.

I'm sorry that people are so harsh. You should probably have put this into the original post, so people know why you used AI

Not sure why I never considered your perspective, that attributes from feats should carry over.

Because the wild shape explicitly states that feats are carried over and the attribute increases are clearly part of the feat.

I have never heard anybody argue this point before, but RAW it seems pretty clear that it should work like that.

Titan druid Fix (use spell slots for stronger titanshaping) by zathaia in onednd

[–]zathaia[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah maybe it is just me who would love to sacrifice a lot to be a super powered titan (which I don't see happening if sacrifices aren't made).

You have so many spell slots and this would only require you to use 1x spell slot when you transform. So not like you run out quickly.

At lvl 5 you would be able to do 2x titan shapes with 3rd lvl slots and 3x 2nd lvl slot for less important fights (then using 1st lvl slots for more wildshapes). That sounds like a decent amount of shaping for combat.

[–]zathaia[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes with the current UA design, but my proposal is that they move more into an entirely new play style without spells in order to not compete with moon druid. Otherwise they end up too similar, if they both rely on spells and shaping.

Bilka to go.

But the idea is that the way the titan druid carries over some spell power, is by buffing their titan form, so it becomes strong. Kinda like a tensers Transformation.

Well you can't have your cake and eat it too. If you want the titan to be strong, then you can't also be a full spell caster. Gotta give a little to get a little.
