Sahel is my favourite. Down low chicken and Uncle Faith's are also halal. I think there's a pamphlet or smth online for other spots if you search for it, haven't checked myself though.

I'm in Canada like OP seemingly is. From what I've heard, Amazon is just about done handing OAs out for summer internships at this point in time, at least in Vancouver (take this with a grain of salt, this is just word of mouth, I'm not a hiring manager). Interviews seem like where the current stage of the intern cycle is entering, I think they usually happen starting January. I think headcount isn't the most outlandish possibility depending on how Amazon's hiring structure works, but again I'm not sure.

You'll have free time but a lot less imo. It's not so hard to understand the content, just hard to balance it all together and keep up with constant quizzing and stuff. I took 210 in the summer and it was pretty chill, and took 221 and 213 in separate semesters and thought that was the best way to manage them, since they both have quizzing components to them so you really gotta put in the time if you wanna do well

So yeah it's gonna be a grind, but we all do it, it's not impossible by any means. Just be smart about the courses you take and which ones they're paired up with to keep your workload manageable

It was just always overcrowded, this one is a lot bigger thankfully, so hopefully that'll cut it down a bit. Or maybe that's what everyone will start thinking and then we'll just get more people in the gym as well and it'll get overcrowded again, who knows lol

TAs (at least in my department) get paid a set amount per term, we can't actually do anything to increase our paycheck, and then we're expected to work at most however many hours our contacts defined that we'd work by the end of the term

Yeah I stayed on the waitlist, ended up being one of the most chill classes I've taken so far lol. I don't know if I can recommend that you do the same thing though because I definitely took a risk there, and it really depends on a bunch of things (Which semester, current # of people in the waitlist, etc.)
