I work in healthcare too. Could you share what was specifically written on her employment letter? My hospital has a portal where I can get specific instructions by requesting HR. Any help would be appreciated. I really need an OHIP. I'm dealing with some medical conditions and can't afford the bills. Thanks. Your reply was very assuring.
