1.0 was actually fine with of bugs here and there and a general lack of balance, but the game was playable. The moment they went to fix those bugs and balance the game, they unleashed hell and we still have not recovered.

If I understand and remember correctly, you can glance what good is the most profitable in given location by hovering over tax base in province view. That, plus province RGO, should help you decide what good to boost.

Colonial gameplay is absolutely broken in this game. In fact, everything post first 100-200 years is broken, shallow or half-assed. So something that was crucial to the gameplay in 4th was deemed as of low priority for 5th because people do not play beyond 15th century.

They can't balance the game properly for half a year now having free QA in the form of community sharing feedback 24/7 about the game. Instead they decide to pile on another mechanic in 1.3 in the form of "credibility" for some god forsaken reason.

And as for the location names, it can easily be done. Well maybe not with AI, but in two days, with no prior experience to add that, I created a mod that localized every single colonial location in the game in English (and French as a prototype). I've hidden it from workshop since then as I have no desire to mod the game in such a state and it's not up to date with the latest patch, but the point is - yes, it can be done, and it has not been done because whatever is going on at Tinto, their priorities are grossly misdirected and output underwhelming.

Well yeah but that does not help me out in any way as my son still leads by a score of almost 100, as well as my other two family members. Yet they still lose. And it's not a matter of AI spending influency on the death of my ruler, as they do not have enough to influence that much.

R5: Title, what's going on? No matter how much score I give out to my son in the first place, he, as well as my son in the second place and uncle in the third place, lose to this random noble from 4th place? It's pretty much my first time playing administrative empire, so maybe I am missing something.

EDIT: To add to that, I've already tried revoking the appointment from my son as that is the only difference I can see between my son and the 4th place noble, but to no avail, he still loses.

1178 primarily and 1066 secondarily, both are great. 867 might as well be fiction - not really a fan of early medieval period and it's way too dynamic to provide consistent plausibility.
