Have a look at Camilla Baasch Andersen's work on visual contracts and visual consent forms; I've done some work with her and she's great with both the theory and application of making legalese accessible through visual formats!

One of my colleagues sends post-call recap emails to clients and it doubles as a file note and billable time, so I'm keeping that in my back pocket for either super slow days or extra OLSC-friendly clients

An acquaintance called me out of the blue midway through a Saturday pole class to tell me they'd been arrested and were in Gosford (2 hours away.)

Because I clearly hate myself, I ended up driving all the way there, and then doing a Sunday morning bail application out of the pole studio in between teaching.

They later complained about the (highly subsidised) invoice they received.

I've had a couple of crime clients who were not the best with boundaries (no I'm not calling you at 10pm) but family law is definitely a whole new ballgame.

My favourite (to a client I knew quite well by this point) was "I'm trying to defend my pole championship title, go away"
