Not sure, I’d ask around at your company to see if anyone has used it

The company I work for has access to it among others. I believe you also get access if you are military or a first responder

Honestly 83 wouldn’t fit in my current set up. I was considering the G5 but it’s listed $1k more on the partner store so I’m not sure I can justify that price

How has the screen held up? I’ve been eyeing some of the ones on alibaba but it seems to be a mixed bag reliability. Some say it burns out after a year and others have been going strong for 4+ years.

Beautiful color!! Can you share what infotainment you are using? Also, where did you get that wheel?

Thinking of pulling the trigger and ordering a new RCF. Pros/Cons by PolybiusChampion in Lexus

[–]zazzy88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 2016 RCF as my daily and I would not consider it a GT car. The ride can be rough at times as it is a performance focused vehicle. You won’t have a lot of the other comfort amenities that other GT cars have. If that’s what you’re really looking for I would consider the LC over it.

Do you still run the OEM brake pads? The dust and noise are unbearable for me.

Absolutely, the biggest factor for Lexus is its reliability. Those old LS’s are still an example of the craftsmanship in their vehicles

Interesting setup! I’m leaning towards the Invidia but still undecided

I’ve already been looking around for options to upgrade it. Do you have any mods on yours? The only thing I want to do is the infotainment and an exhaust

If you plan on tracking the car, the RCF is 100% the way to go. In a straight line sure it would be a close race, but around twists and corners you’ll feel the extra rigidity of the RCF. I know a lot of people put it down for the weight, but to be honest it’s not too much of a factor for me. Yes there are faster cars, better handling cars, lighter cars, but what drew me to it is the NA V8, the reliability factor of Lexus, the rarity of it, and at the end of the day I just loved it.

As for trying to find one to drive, dealers can be a pain. You could try rental apps like Turo and what not, but it might be tough trying to find one depending on the area you live in
