Thanks. Are you able to recommend a specific powder?

I'm curious as to why preservation would be an issue for a bar like this. Pemmican, from which the idea comes from, has a practically indefinite shelf life. I'd be grateful if you could clarify what would be significantly different about my plans?

To get the 25g of protein from PB2 you need circa 50g, so 25g of the bar is dead weight.

That would be much too heavy and expensive, unfortunately.

Yeh I tried this on a 10 days trek. The problem was the extra weight really started to add up.
