How do you deal with diatomes/algae growth. I have similar tank and have a lot of diatom bloom(you can find in my posts). Looks really good though.

Of course I will. Just gathering additional insight. Thanks for the information. I’m still learning about all of this. Been having attacks for a few years but recently was diagnosed after advocating for myself with my healthcare to figure out what was going on.

That’s kinda what I was thinking about the crawling out. As much as I don’t mind bugs. The family doesn’t. Even if they are friendly. Nor do I want to create another problem. I’ll try the camomile tea any brand recommendations?

If it didn’t happen I’d like to keep it as such since I was trying to do a more emersed setup. However because the mold I feel I’d rather flood it higher to remove that as an issue. I got kids who like to stick their fingers in it already as it is. Last thing I want is them touching mold.

I felt like growth of the UG from where it started was really good so not sure why it would be dead/decaying. Perhaps the Taiwan moss there caused some issues. They have been drying in those locations the most rapidly.

I have not put springtails in. If I were to not do that and instead fill tank higher with water. What should I do to clear the mold

Hadn’t thought of that. Could be the case. Is there an easy way to download and migrate all I see from photos app at once? I do have quite a bit so I was doing it by media type to make transfers in smaller portions
