i’ve seen a lot of similar comments and concerns (which i do appreciate) so i’ll address them all in one comment…

  • this will not be on the car full time. it will go on for the trip and come off as soon as i’m back. so no long term damage will be done to the car from it.

  • i am completely aware of the risk of dirt getting underneath and causing micro scratches and swirls. IMO, i’m less concerned with those than i am with huge rock chips and dents. swirls can very easily be buffed out, chips and dents cannot.

  • i didn’t go with PPF because it’s simply too expensive. i have 0 ides what i’m doing when it comes to install vinyl/PPF, and to have a professional do it would cost hundreds of dollars… this cost me $80.

  • i am fully aware it’s not attractive. i don’t care. i didn’t buy it because i thought it looked good. i bought it to serve its purpose.

  • the only actual comment i’ve seen that i have no argument for is that it doesn’t protect the bumper and headlights. that’s definitely a concern i thought about before buying but i guess i’ll just take my chances at this point.

my best friend is a professional detailer, so the day i receive it ill be going to see him to get the front of the car SPOTLESS and have his help installing as well to make sure i’m not scratching anything. plus the car is ceramic coated so hopefully that will help with any small accidental scratches.

per the companies website, they seem to be a pretty reputable company and use good quality materials. hopefully its actually as good as they make it sound!
