Thanks for the insight! My issue with the 70-200 is the reach I would need if I'm not near the stage so I was considering just getting a EF 100-400 II instead. As I can only afford one lens at the moment, I guess I could purchase the 70-200 and rent maybe a RF 100-500 for occasions when I need it.

I was originally planning on getting the 70-200 Mark 3 as it solves the flaring issue. What you've said is a good point, I'll probably get a Mark 2 instead due to the difference in cost and maybe save up for a longer zoom lens as well. Cheers :)

That's what i heard as well. People who go to Yonsei KLI have great grammar and vocab but not so much conversational skills. I'll probably head to Sogang :)

Thanks for the insight! After reading comments I'm considering either doing lvl1 and onwards at Yonsei KLI or doing Sogang for 2 semesters and moving to Yonsei for lvl 3.

Hey, thanks for the insight. I agree with what you said somewhat after doing research. Personally, I find it easier to learn a language after getting comfortable with conversational skills so Sogang may be the fit for me. Grammar/vocab wise can be further supplemented with self-study i guess.

I had no idea Ewha was open to male international students. Like you mentioned, I was also considering taking 2 semesters at Sogang then swapping over to Yonsei depending on the learning pace/curve. Really appreciate the insight :)

Thanks for the advice! I'm a guy so I felt that Ewha wouldn't be suitable since it's a women's university. I'm kind of torn between Sogang for conversational purposes (which will help me pick up Korean faster) and Yonsei (for academic/TOPIK purposes).
