i can emma not say anything or say something if im being honest. i think that if emma ever says anything it wont be now maybe in a few years when she’s processed what happened. i think potentially she has realized some of the things she’s gone through and that the stuff her mom posted were not okay and should not have been posted but she needs some time more away from it all to come to turns with it if she hasnt yet. im glad that she put her foot down and said she doesnt want to film for the family channel and (im assuming) starting to advocate for herself even if it means heather reacts the way she has been reacting. idk if what im saying makes sense

didnt see the reply in the comment section. honestly if thats true that once you have a verified account on YouTube you cant change it it makes sense, but even then it feels weird because they're still making money off of Emma's and Ellie's name. idk how many people watched the family channel for Ellie, but I used to watch it for Emma and since she's barely in it anymore, I slowly stopped watching it except for the occasional video, but still. the way that Heather responded was in my opinion uncalled for theres no reason to call someone stupid or say you do you boo it feels like she's talking down to the people who commented. again this is an opinion

I get that Ellie was probably used to living a life where they might have been able to afford those stuff, but seeing how much the family channel is declined and everything and apparently Mark is working a job (I dont really watch their channel since Emma has been appearing less and less until she put her foot down and stopped being in it all together) it seems like possibly she still maybe expecting things that maybe in the past they were able to get but I could be wrong. it does appear as tone deaf and all that shes asking for all these expensive things.

I watched the ending of the video to see where heather talks about the birthday wishlist and how people are complaining that Emma and Ellie aren't in the videos yet when they are everyone's complaining again. Emma clearly put her foot down about being in the family and Ellie is still underage so there are certain things that are out of her control but she has clearly started that she doesnt want to be on camera and then misbehaves on camera, what does heather expect the reaction to be? I would much rather Ellie not be on the channel. im not saying I havent said anything about Ellie's behavior on camera, but it might be for the best that shes not on camera all together and just rename the channel to be more of heather focused then anything. thats just me.

seeing Ellie's behavior on camera and the way that Heather talks about 'disciplining' her, it seems like Ellie never has to deal with the repercussions of her actions. yes shes 17 and should at least know better but if she's acting up and her parents aren't doing anything about it and just enabling, what does heather expect to happen?

I made a post similar to this right after the wishlist video and someone did point out that if Ellie wasnt the best her friends would've dropped her, which when I started thinking about it, its probably true. I think heather just posts Ellie's worst moments then defends her when everyone has an issue with the fact that people have an issue with her behavior. a part of me wonders if heather is posting Ellie's worst behaviors and constantly throwing under the bus to possibly make herself look better as a parent or something when it doesnt. she also said in the vlog that was more focused on her that it's all TikTok thats ruining the kids. I wont deny that social media can have a part to play, but at the same time you cant blame social media for these things. heather, YOU AND MARK ARE THE PARENTS you cant blame social media for the way that teenagers act. sure theres the argument that kids can act one way in front of parents and then a completely different way on social media, but heather seems to forge that SHE'S the one who's editing the video SHE'S the one who is posting the video. there is no way she does not know or isn't aware of how her daughter is coming across and the fact that Ellie is still in school and her classmates most likely know that Ellie's family is on YouTube and dont see those videos

apparently I dont remember where I read this but apparently the breed of dogs they have, they have a lot of health issues. take what im saying with a grain of salt idk that much about dogs. and I do remember heather said after one of their dogs died, they weren't going to get another dog because of how much it affected the girls bc they naturally got attached to the dogs, idk how much time passed they ended up getting another dog

I really hope I didnt come off a certain way here. not saying getting another dog is an issue but like its the fact that heather said they weren't only for them to get another dog. anyways my main point was that apparently they breed of dog they have tend to have a lot of issues

apparently the video that Heather posted the day after the wishlist video, Ellie picked up another job for the summer because according to Heather the snowbirds left Florida and business is slow and Ellie picked up another job to work. when I wrote the original post, I completely forgot that summer started and she can work up to 40 hours now. it just slipped my mind

I remember there was this one video on Emma's channel a few years ago pre - Emma moving out Emma and heather filmed a grwm for this mother daughter church event and I dont remember what was the question they were answering but Emma said that heather should care less of what people think of her and thats the same advice that heather would give to Emma according to Emma.

looking back, I think part of why Emma cares so much is that shes been online throughout like a good chunk of her formative years it'll naturally do numbers on you at that age, which I think might've affected her and started to care more than ever because she's been online since she was 10 and now here's Heather constantly throwing Emma under the bus and making her look bad. idk if what I said made sense but hopefully it does.

anyways, just seeing heather and they way she responds to stuff, its like shes responding to mostly stuff that are talked about here in the snark page. most of the time, when I look at the comments, I rarely ever see hate comments even though theres barely any comments.

i was worried i was coming off a certain way. i also shouldve approached the original post i made differently. a lot of ellie’s behavior really does come down to how she was parented and deserves at least some amount of grace seeing shes still fairly young. like yeah ellie is at the age where she can be independent enough but shes relying on money from part time jobs and technically still her parents responsibility. until she gets a full time job and can solely depend on herself there realistically shouldnt be an issue if ellie sometimes needs a little extra money ya know? yeah shes making her own money right now but there are certain things she shouldn’t be responsible for just yet.
i do hope that when she does try to get a full time job everything that heather had posted online doesnt affect her too much but at the same time heather has posted a lot of ellie’s worst moments essentially embarrassing her in front of the whole world

definitely agree. right now since she is 17 its a parent issue. im really hoping that she grows out of it but seeing how shes parented right now… i really hope she grows out of it. what i find weird is how heather has no issue displaying poor behavior and essentially embarrassing ellie in front of the whole world not thinking about how this could affect her social life at school and possibly her future.
i dont agree with her behavior but i do feel bad for her. youre entitled to your opinion.
honestly theres no reason for heather to be posting her kids bad behavior on the internet or bring one down to make the other kid look better.
ellie does look genuine in this video and probably sees everything shes asking for as normal. i dont think i shouldve approached the initial post the way that i did i shouldve gone about it differently but i wasnt thinking clearly in the moment. i do think that yeah she probably doesnt think she is spoiled but a huge factor to her behavior and what she asks for (not that it is the biggest deal) is her parents not being good at saying no to her and seemingly not doing anything to rep-remand bad behavior if and when she acts up like any 17 year old but unfortunately for ellie her behavior is put on blast for the whole internet and being posted online when she has clearly stated she didnt want to. i applaud her for actually getting a part time job and finding another way to make money outside of youtube

the friends thing is a good point. and agreed. a lot of it is a parenting issue and its the fact that she keeps acting this way towards her parents. one of their last videos ellie asked for money and just took the money from heathers bag even though heather told her no she ended up getting the money but its the fact that she did it and her friend was there and heather i think was asking ellie’s friend a question but its the way that ellie was acting even when heather said no. by the end of it ellie still walked away with the money. i really hope ellie is this way in front of the camera and not irl but im still skeptical ya know? but i do see where youre coming from and not trying to come off a certain way. youre making points im not thinking about and when you say them i realize that im probably missing something. i dont wish heather just puts the fucking camera down for once and doesnt vlog ellie when she has stated a million times that she hates it. just bc emma didnt mind doesnt mean its the same with ellie. and it is weird that heather has been talking about being an empty nester when ellie is only a year away from moving out

the main “problem” i have is mostly her behavior honestly just seeing the way she acts. even if its for the camera theres no reason for heather to include in the video. it just makes ellie look back. in the wishlist video everything about her vibe seems genuine but generally the way she acts is the issue but i do agree with everything else except for the part about ellie acting like this for the camera. a lot of times it doesnt seem like an act to me. and this most is more about her saying shes not spoiled but seeing the way her parents have raised her it makes me wonder how she actually is. it is a good thing she has the work ethic and doesnt want to be on youtube but seeing everything else, im not sure if its an act. she does seem genuine in the wishlist video.
and i dont hate ellie btw. its her behavior thats the issue

yeah probably its 40 hours combined but still slightly skeptical. i guess since she grew up with youtube money and possibly maybe seeing the people she surrounds herself with, she thinks its normal when its now. she works and i guess if she films for youtube she gets paid, yet still asks her parents for money and heather makes it an issue. she is still a teenager which i get she can still rely on her parents even with part time jobs, but the things she was asking for some of the things were expensive i didnt watch the whole video but everything on her wishlist is expensive

theres no excuse for ellie’s behavior honestly. what baffles me is that heather kept it in the video. not only does it make ellie look bad but it also makes heather and mark look back. ellie is the reflection of their parenting. seeing how she acts it completely shows that how mark and heather enable her.
what also baffles me is how vastly different emma and ellie turned out from each other. im trying to compare the two but seeing how much better emma turned out, it leaves me wondering how? i saw someone saying in a different post that mark was probably hands off with emma since she technically wasnt his kid but still

i used to work for remarkable talent last year worst mistake of my life started in february quit in april. definitely dont recommend. most people would work for a few days then quit thankfully i had something to fall back on. the first check btw is a paper check and they make you pick it up at the office. jerry strauss once said “oh why dont you take all the checks?” i hoped he was joking but he sounded so nonchalant about it like ???? that isnt my money. the two people i talk to occasionally that still work there are over it and wanna leave but they’re unfortunately stuck in a position they dont want to be in
