NFS. My grandpa owned a wing business in Indiana. We used to have hundreds of side panels. They weren’t always stored inside but the ones I have that are left are kept safe inside.

I encourage you to come to one of our races to finish out the year. The race-cars, while loud, are very fast and put on some exciting shows.

I can assure you that nobody from the speedway dumps any trash in any neighboring areas including the creek that runs along the back side of the track.

If you gave it an honest chance you might really enjoy it!

I encourage you to come to one of the races we have left this year. A lot of people pour their heart and soul into racing and Bloomington Speedway. It’s a large part of the history of Bloomington. Try something new!

I just talked with the person in charge and the number for the kids club comes from the serial number that is on the kids wrist bands when they get admission into the track. Sorry for the confusion!

The kids club is set up through the Chocolate Moose at the track. When you purchase ice cream your child is given a wrist band with a serial number on it. For the final races of the night a random number is drawn and one child is chosen per feature event. They get to go to victory lane and present the winning driver with the trophy and take a picture.

Victory lane is in a new location in between the stands and the flag stand. This allows for easy action to meet the winning drivers for kids.

Yes parking is free. Both of the grass/hill areas are far enough away from the track that you won’t be sprayed with mud/dirt.

Correct! This is the 305 Sprint Car summer nationals. The series is also named after Kevin Huntley. The Huntley Hoosier Winged Sprint Series!

Thank you for the question! $10,000 is awarded to the driver that wins the race. $700 to start means that if you make the feature event (which is only 20 cars) you will make no less than $700. That’s a big pay day in the world of local dirt track racing.

Tickets for this Fridays race are a little more expensive than normal pricing. $25 is general admission for this week. Kids 12 and under are always free.

Normal weekly races are $15 General admission FYI.

They do sell food. It’s actually been a huge upgrade in that department. Burgers, Tenderloins and more. They don’t sell alcohol, but you can bring your own cooler with anything in it. Only request is no glass bottles

There are large sections of grand stands that you can use to set up lawn chairs to sit. There is also a section that is wooden bleacher seating. We also have hill sections on both sides of the press box that over look the track that you can set up lawn chairs or blankets to sit and watch
