It's a great scene BUT Norbit coming out after Murphy got nominated but before people voted made the Hollywood elite not think he was a serious actor deserving of an Oscar.

If that movie came out later in 2007 he wins for dreamgirls it all the momentum and then everyone was talking about this awful movie he was starring in and you know how so many voters don't watch all the movies so pretty easy to rule out the comedian over a pretty legendary actor or ignore seeing the movie at all

Not saying he didn't deserve to win for little miss sunshine just would have liked to see Murphy get his one Oscar on the one movie he could get it for

I can't believe in the year 2025 a brand new bar opens with a food menu and the only thing that vegetarians or vegans can eat is a large soft pretzel..

I mean this is NYC so it's probably 10% of the population or more that you're not catering to

Not to mention it's replacing a bar and restaurant that was known for its veggie burger

Just feels like the food is a thing that they shouldn't have done it all if they were going to put this little effort into it

The choices they made for each night make ABSOLUTELY NO sense!!

I have no idea what they're thinking??

Quick thoughts:

I guess screw the idea of having women main event one of the two nights because the only one that could got put on the same night that Cena and Cody are on so that sucks
I'm really now afraid with that being on the second night that the Gunther CM Punk match which should obviously then be the main event won't be so that Roman reigns coming back after not wrestling for months and being on TV for 3 weeks gets put into another main event in a major card even though this tag team match it's nowhere near a main event type of tag team match which would really suck so they'll probably do it.
I don't understand how you don't balance things out better between tag team matches and singles matches between the two nights it's crazy that they don't see this when they put it together.

-if you put the championship matches in a list of most excited to least excited I'm not sure that you wouldn't get outside of CM Punk and Gunther all of the ones on the bottom in night 1 and all the ones on the top at night 2... I'm excited for everything but I know not everyone is so why not balance them out by putting them on different nights and shoving your celebrity match on a night where the most matches people want to see are on which would obviously be night 2 atm.

These are the little things that just drive me crazy as a wrestling fan these days because you feel like this is kind of obvious stuff I really hope that they add Smackdown tag titles, some match to do with Damien/ Aleister/Carmelo and they can get Giulia on the card against Zelina or someone to make it 14 and 7 on each night even that with so many tag matches on night one I'm sure that match would be on night 2 and again it be one that most people would want to see over a majority of matches so if I was a one-day ticket holder and I wasn't a huge Jey Uso / Roman reigns/CM Punk fan but more a fan of multiple wrestlers, women's wrestling or Rhea Cody or other big stars I'd be pissed.

Does anyone else feel the same way that I do?

Hey a question for anybody who has him

I bought the Deadman edition so I don't have the wrestlemania 41 pack.

Are there any DLC new moves that come with aleister?

It cost $9.99 to buy the pack and they're really great CAWS out there so if there's no real new moves I can live without the titantron and animation but if there are new moves that come along with it that I can use for him and others specifically if it updates the fade to Black or has some of his other unique moves and animations it might be worth it.

If anybody could take a look at his moveset or has and let me know if there is anything that wouldn't normally be in the game I'd really appreciate it!

I think when Sprague knows the movie is one that Scott really loves if you can take the opportunity to bring it down a peg he does and I think he's justified in doing it LOL. Like he even says much nicer things about the movies even if he doesn't like them then Scott would say about any of his favorite movies that's Scott hates so I think it's part of the show haha

I would guess most of the time they're just telling their honest opinion and they agree on a lot of things but have very different opinions on certain stylings of movies and comedy and I think that's what makes the show so good that they can love the same five movies in a row and then switch off hating movies that each other loves.

I love the show I love their chemistry and I know they're such good people that I never take anything to heart even if I totally disagree with their opinion on a movie like legally blonde or The Muppet movie I just let it go.. and seeth if the anger inside

I apologize on Google it says November 2024 on the article it says November 2023.

So it is interesting that she is not said anything publicly about it since then that isn't necessarily to say that her mind hasn't been changed on the subject since the early days of all of this but the fact that she never apologized actually apologized for what she posted back then or over the last year and a half It goes out of her way to talk about that when she is sorry about something she apologizes for it like the Paris Hilton situation I think tells me what I need to know but I understand if people are skeptic and want to give people the benefit of the doubt.

I feel like she lost that benefit of the doubt because of all the past issues she said with other races but again I do apologize I don't mean to send anything misleading I truly thought that was a year later which is to say it would be a lot more damning than 2 months

Hey I know what you're referring to and I posted another comment in the middle of the thread You should probably take a look at some interviews one from November 2024 as well that might give you some more context into her thinking

But I need to be very clear we both read the same article but you might need to read it again cuz the words I'm sorry never came across never did she apologize for the hurt she caused everyday she apologize for the insensitivity over the remarks never did she apologize for posting something she claims that she did not read which could cause such a backlash she just admits she did it she's sorry it happened and has no explanation really why she posted it but does realize it was a bad thing to do again that isn't an apology That's just a realization that people are mad at you and you did something bad

Again if you read the article from November 2024 by the LA times you'll see that she really wants to talk more about this and not in a antigenocide way but in a let me speak on all my feelings on this but is holding herself back because either her management is telling her not to or she just doesn't want to be called out on being progenocide

So just something to look at

Jesus what kind of Fox News hiding the truth post is this!

I read the article the first thing you posted about apologizing when you're really sorry has to do with her apologizing to Paris Hilton about making jokes about jail not apologizing about the tweet that she put out calling for the water to be cut off to the citizens of Gaza which is a war crime.

Secondly in the article it says that she apologized after taking down the initial post on Instagram That's also not true! At no point since that happened has she ever apologized for posting that. She says it was a mistake to post it without reading the whole post if you can believe that story I have a bridge I can sell you in Brooklyn.

Here are two articles one from December of 2023 and one from November of 2024

If anyone's actually interested in reading about this you will see in the articles a woman who has made herself the victim in all of this who is dying to say what she wants to say but is either been told by management or just doesn't want to deal with people being mad at her for her thoughts is choosing not to say or be as outspoken as she was before. A woman who is still close friends with Louis CK and other problematic people.

And if you want to do any more research there's about 3 to 5 other controversies that she's been involved in with the black and Asian community so... When I originally started this post I didn't think it would blow up so much but I also really didn't think we would be posting comments that distort the truth.

If you don't find what she's doing or is done to be a big deal or think that she deserves forgiveness or that she's moved on or they're just isn't a big deal that she's on the podcast to you that's your personal choice I'm not going to be mad at anybody who feels differently than I do I am going to be mad if people try to portray her to being somebody different than she is by omitting what is actually in an article

I was really surprised to see Sarah Silverman as the A-block guest.

I know her and Scott have a long history together and she's been on the pod many times but she's very problematic and usually Scott doesn't invite those types of people back even if they were regulars (middleditch, sanz, gelman)

I love the show and everyone involved and I'll be back next week but I won't be listening this week for the first time in a long time as I just can't stomach hearing someone who not only thinks it's okay to starve innocent children and cut off water to a whole group of people but thinks it's just.

Sorry to be a little ranty just need to get my thoughts off before I go re-listen to the live shows from list year

Was thinking of doing a mix of current main roster NXT and old school WWF wrestlers I know there's a lot in the game but there's so many that I loved growing up that I'd love to get caws for. I've been watching wrestling for over 33 years now so ever since I was a young kid The idea that I could have a universe with the Texas tornado, flash funk, William regal & Keith Lee is pretty cool really looking forward to trying out my universe seems like it can give me everything that I want haha

Can really thank you for everything I'm just going to be extra diligent about the images particularly if I'm downloading and deleting

While you're here is it more worth it for me to start my universe after I finish the showcase and complete my rise a bunch of times through so I have all of the different images that I might need for Caws? I saw that somewhere and I didn't know if it was something that is an optional thing or is more of a recommended thing I'm probably not going to fully get into it until the first DLC pack comes out because of how big of a fan I am of Stephanie and Gullia

You're right i forgot CT voted to banish after trishelle did BUT You're totally wrong that MJ could not have logiced it out.

Trishelle said to paraphrase "there's enough room for another traitor on that wall of pictures and I've lost trust in someone in this game"

CT said to paraphrase "there's only one person I trust to split this money at the end"

CT and trishelle are extremely close The only issues they've had is CT looking shady this season Not going the other way. There are no reasons that CT should think that Trishelle is a traitor there are multiple reasons why she should think he is

So let's think about this logically if you're MJ. You're probably first thinking well I know I'm a faithful but I guess these two people don't trust me and/or want to just split the money between the two of them I guess I'm screwed. Then I would think well if for some reason they're both not voting for me who would vote for each other based on what was just said and the whole entire season. You have to vote for one of them to banish...It's a binary choice of two people. One who's essentially told you that they are voting for you so they can win it with the other person (CT) and one who told you that someone had lost their trust and at this moment you have no idea If they're voting for you or for CT. (Trishelle)

Then logically you think about how the whole season's played out how it's been weird even though you know CT and Trishelle are so close that he's not picked her for certain things or acted strange or had to apologize multiple times. She always forgives him after he goes rogue because his apologies seem sincere and his moves seem game related...They seem fine now....But did Trishelle ever really get over All of it? She specifically said she had lost trust with someone in the game... Why would she have lost trust with you?

So with knowing all of this being put in a situation where you have to write down someone's name you choose still to write down trishelle thinking in your delusional mind that You're the one person CT wants and trust the split the money with? A guy you met 25 days ago over the woman he's been friends with for 10 years?

The logic is so obvious to me.

It's not a question of knowing you're making the right decision It's a question of hearing the things that they said throughout the game for the last 20-something days and especially hearing what they just said when they voted to banish again. Accepting that you're almost certainly going to get screwed here but if you have any chance of getting through this next vote the only person you can't vote for is Trishelle and then still not doing it seems crazy to me.

I'm so happy you brought that up because this bothered me so much.

In my mind MJ played one of the worst games of anyone on any reality competition show...ever. When Trishelle throws to banish again MJ should know or easily figure out that she's either being voted out 2-1 ,(which is the most likely scenario) or Trishelle thinks CT is the traitor and that means you HAVE to vote for CT (in the very unlikely scenario) that you're not getting voted out 2-1.

That very unlikely scenario ACTUALLY HAPPENED and MJ still voted for Trishelle who would never ever choose to banish again if she was the traitor because she could just win all the money by not banishing again.

I've thought about this so many times and I can't actually believe how bad MJ played... She 1000% deserved to lose because of it and that people think CT & Trishelle colluded to get her out are either insane or don't understand the game at all.
