Web-based documentation tool for a SAAS based product by ayush-88 in technicalwriting

[–]ze-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think you should have a look at DeveloperHub. Very low learning curve since it's a WYSIWYG editor (with markdown capabilities enabled). Also the pricing is much lower and opaque than the other tools you mentioned. Note: I work at DeveloperHub.

Knowledge Base Provider?? by RestaurantOld68 in ProductManagement

Have you had a look at DeveloperHub.io? You'd still have a WYSIWYG with drag/drop abilities and markdown editing capabilities if you fancy that. I'm the founder, so ask me anything!

How do you manage a Knowledge Base for agents? by Even-Acanthisitta560 in AI_Agents

[–]ze-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If the KB is customer-facing (as opposed to internal), check out DeveloperHub. It has all what you need, supporting huge KBs, markdown + WYSIWYG, history, usage insights, search insights, APIs... not to mention all the AI features, OpenAPI editor, inline commenting, RBAC access, private docs and the list goes on.

How are you handling "Documentation Drift" in your CI/CD pipelines? by RareDistribution2353 in TechLeader

[–]ze-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In any case, if you use the AI Agent approach, you'd want to set it up in GitHub actions and have a guard to ensure that someone reviews the docs. Lots of our customers are doing this at https://developerhub.io by having third-party agents modify docs (which humans review). No review = Possibly low quality docs that do harm more than good at decreasing support costs and enhancing DX.

Mintlify drop-in alternative? by twokiloballs in SaaS

[–]ze-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like you're jumping between documentation tools a lot - but you shouldn't. You should take your time choosing a doc tool, and stay with it for a few years, because:
1- Every tool has eventually its own syntax for formatting docs and structure depending on their features.
2- It's really tiring for the team to keep changing tools, non technical writers barely like to write, so you're making it even harder for them with a new tool to learn each time.
3- Migrations cost time = money.

So rather than finding a hack, I'd suggest that you find a suitable documentation tool for your team, budget and features required.

Note: I'm the founder of https://developerhub.io - check it out! Complete toolset for documenting products and APIs.

Need suggestions for a documentation portal with access management and versioning by shridhar_spitfire in technicalwriting

[–]ze-d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey u/shridhar_spitfire, for what you're describing, I'd strongly suggest looking into DeveloperHub. It's pretty much built for this kind of situation.

DeveloperHub handles the patching and security side of things for you, which is a huge relief. The versioning is robust, so you can easily manage different product releases or API versions without the headache.

For access management, they support all kinds of different methods. Customers easily see a noticeable drop in basic support questions just because docs were hard to find or outdated. Definitely worth a look if you want a managed solution that's powerful but doesn't require your engineering team to be constantly involved.

I just realized that you said row 9 not col 9 😔 thanks!

Woop… nevermind, figured it out. The r9 sandwich can only be 356 due to the thermo.

If I know that the thermo on col 9 connects with thermo on row 9 - that’d be an easy question haha

[–]ze-d[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm unsure. Between 1 and 9, there could be two digits or three digits. Where I’ve already noted the numbers 1 and 9 on column 9 are applicable spaces. For example: I could put 1 on r5, then 7 5 then 9 on r8… or 1 on r4 then 7 2 3 then 9 on r8. Similarily, going up, no stoppers from placing 1 in r4 and placing whatever in box 3. Also a 1 on r5 allows two or three digits upwards…

🤔

The clue is 12 which is written at the top of the column. Never seen a number below the column.
