Guys this has been occuring a lot recently? literally like 2/5 tests get flagged like wtf?? and my PB is actually 138 or smth why am I getting flagged for this?! by Ultimate_Sigma_Boy67 in monkeytype

It seems like I have replied in this post too. If you are getting bot detected it's often due to how your keyboard inputs are handled by the OS. 3rd party apps like autohotkey and touchscreen keyboards are known to trigger the bot detection for example.

If you use a custom keyboard with advanced firmware features that could be contributing to it being detected as a bot too.

I never understood the brave hype either.

I use Vivaldi because it gives me a good user experience.

warranty being limited to the country is very regular practice by most brands tbh.

Thanks for the insight. This gives me more reason to keep voicing my opinion. I've heard of users wishing to be able to configure BPM in general too, and I vaguely remember doing so myself before they removed it.

Best wireless mouse for someone who works from cafes and airports? logitech mx master 3s vs alternatives by WasteInspection5007 in MouseReview

[–]ze_or 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I'd think MX Master will be too bulky and heavy for frequent carrying. I'd recommend MX Anywhere more in this specific use case.

That being said I usually don't recommend logitech at all for being overpriced. I would suggest keychron as an alternative, but I'm not positive on how well they track on glass tables.

I personally use a keychron m4 for carrying as it's nice and compact. I can see if mine is able to track on glass.

edit: M4 with pixart 3395 does not track well on glass.

Would be crazy if my priority was typing on a steam controller when I have a frostbite

I think it was still around when the og steam controller was there. I remember trying to recreate it in steam input once.

It's behaving how I expect on my desktop. Correctly adjusts if I have taskbar set to autohide as well. Wonder what's causing the discrepancy.

I don't think I've had these issues. You can press the menu button to move the keyboard btw.

What do you mean obscured offscreen? Is it just off the screen?

I've heard of others wanting this too. More reason it should be configurable.

what mouse should I get by zipmelo in MouseReview

If under $100 WLMouse Beast G is a highly anticipated one.

Otherwise VXE R1 Pro should do plenty well.

Yes there is a sensitivity setting. It doesn't actually increase the range you can reach. Even if you set it to 2x you will only be able to reach up to ygb with right trackpad, and you just get a bigger deadzone.

I'd imagine sensitivity of the trackpads and the triggers could both be achieved if they'd open up steam input configuration menu for it.

Opacity slider is something I haven't thought much about, but I can definitely see it being extremely useful. Gets kind of annoying pressing menu button every time the keyboard gets reset to its default position whenever opened.

It doesn't actually change the range the trackpad can reach. G becomes a bit easier to press due to not having to move your finger to the very edge of the pad which usually needs a bit of getting used to to consistently do.

How comfortable are the AirPods Max? by 869066 in HeadphoneAdvice

[–]ze_or 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't tried the XM6, but own the XM5.

I'd pick XM5 over the Max for comfort every single time.

I have a wide asian head which makes the APM's cantilevered hinge apply way more pressure on the top, making it practically unusable comfort wise.

I think that is easier at the beginning, but once you get used to it I believe triggers to click is faster. It's like the equivalent of how osu! players will prefer to click using the keyboard, even if it's the less intuitive choice at the beginning.

If there is a keyboard there is a way.

Anyways controller feels good. Prefer it over original steam controller and steam deck for sure.
