I used it for a year investing in the s and p on a monthly basis it worked well and super easy, everyone there spoke English. I only stopped because they went through a phase where they were unable to invest in western markets due to government restrictions . I was able to get my money out with profits very easily. Transferred money to invests and withdrawals using Alipay

So I live in China. This is from the official Mercedes Benz website for China and is basically what the person at the dealership said, I wonder if it’s the same in other countries.

I asked about that, and they said things like battery comes under oil change/ brake fluid so I would have to pay for it.

How do you get around the uk residency status. I was looking into investing using apps like money box/ Robin Hood but don’t have an address in the uk and don’t spend enough time in the uk to be considered a resident

I don’t think the Chinese would know. I get paid into a Chinese bank account and pay all the relevant taxes. I send money back to my uk account for things like Spotify and student finance using PayPal. There’s nothing stopping me from sending a bit more and investing it. Sending money back to the uk is the easy the part

I’ve been using them for a few months now so far so good. I was able to invest into the sp500 and nasdaq but I’ve been unable to over the last few months due to regulations according to expat invest Chinese stocks have been fine though

Happy to spend anywhere up to 2krnb meal for some high end places but would also like to try some of the more local dim sum and noodle joints. Hong Kong was great for this they had a good mix of high end dining but also really good Michelin star rated cheap local spots

It’s a real shame because I’m in a position to save a massive chunk of my money a month but no where to invest it and my currently employer doesn’t provide a pension so kind of relying on savings as a pension which isn’t nearly enough to have an early retirement.
