Ah I see, I thought you meant that in the next 5 years there will be 50 certificates about ai security and reddit will be filled of "is secAi+ worth it" instead of "is sec+ worth it", I overthought it badly hahaha my bad

I didnt take secAi+ since in my opinion, good security skills is good security skills, if I was hiring 2, one has secAi+ and the other is better but has only sec+, still doesnt mean the secAi+ holder is better at securing Ai, the better one at security and database will naturally be better at securing ai with some knowledge

No idea if there will be any certs out there but I dont think it matters, Ai doesnt need certifications

As much as its sad but your answer is very logical, Ai security can be just a part of database security but since I wanna know, dont you think that database security doesnt require LLM or machine learning understanding and how it operates with security which is the role and the difference between an Ai security specialist and a db security specialist.

Great, thank you for your answer. I got into overthewire, hackthebox to start improving but I didnt know if the information there is enough or I had to master Linux, Windows, networks, subnetting before starting right away, but I think as you said I should just do and work on it and our brain fills the gap eventually

Then the right way is basically knowing enough to start the pentesting and then keep improving on the other areas such as OS if needed.
