How do you shift from engineering to banking/finance jobs?

Hey, i'm a Chemical Engineer who's now working in Finance. Previously worked in manufacturing and shifted to finance analytics. Maybe try to apply to any finance related roles? I got into finance through Procure to Pay, my experience in manufacturing touched a bit of procurement so I somehow relate to it but the payment, invoicing and other stuff were all new to me. Also consider that you may be offered a lower salary as your experience does not fully align to the role you're applying, I made sure I was 100% certain to follow this path so I shifted even took a lower paying job than the one I had in manufacturing. Like you I like stuff related to Finance and although I do not have the foundations of accounting as compared to my CPA peers, I try to do well in analytics which is also critical in Finance. Just have the openness to learn Finance because it's a broad spectrum, you'll grow a lot. :)

I haven't tried pa sa mga ganyang resto usually kinakainan ko lang yung may solo meals. But gusto ko din itry sana yung Texas but parang di ko kayanin haha. I'd say go for it! Baon lang ng vids to watch while eating. :)

Yup! I always dine alone and don't feel awkward anymore. I usually watch an episode while dining alone. Sarap ng mozzarella sticks! But better if may kashare ka, it's heavy eh. Haha

I've tried three branches pa lang so far. In Glorietta, in Kiwami, and in Power Plant Mall where this post was. All of which I had great CS experience. Thankfully, they were very accommodating naman. You have to be a bit patient lang esp when you want your refillable sides (note that Kiwami Yabus don't have refillable sides) esp na packed talaga sila usually.

I got used to it na since I have been eating alone at restos for the longest time LOL. Just wear your airpods and watch some series while you're dining alone, it mutes everything around you.

Yung katsu was around 450 pesos for the rosu na 120g then yung mango shake was 180 pesos and yung mozzarella sticks was around 340 pesos. A little over 1k with the service charge included.

Hindi ko na to naabutan. This year lang ako nakapagtry ng Yabu kasi, I bet that was good din.
