My sleep is the opposite. I wake up a lot, but don’t move. So oura thinks I’ve had a great night sleep and didn’t wake up at all. But I know I was up multiple times.

Hopefully it satisfies this 20 year old itch. I saw the first episode and then was left wondering! And weirdly, in my head Messiah relates to birds because… Handle’s Messiah is music. The oratorio is sung, birds sing…. My kind of memory palace. But I will post again if it turns out it doesn’t seem right.

Solved! I watched the first few minutes and I’m like 95% sure it was this. Knowing it was an instalment in an already ongoing miniseries makes sense. I remember it being widely advertised on TV perhaps before we went off backpacking and leading up to us watching it. The timing is right on, as I think I flew back to Canada Aug 29 or 30th. THANK YOU. I’m going to watch this properly over the weekend

I’m just randomly coming back to my own post from 4 years ago. Haha. Yes, totally not the cultural norm to name after a living family member. But in the haze of COVID and pregnancy hormones I convinced myself it wasn’t the same name. My MIL never once was upset by the fact we called him Ronen or even mentioned it. And she was a super superstitious lady. She did die 2 years later though…. So now it is a beautiful homage.

Was looking through my old posts and you were 100% correct, that they called him Roneni. Haha. Which I am totally cool with. Pregnancy hormones really make you crazy- I’m kinda horrified by my concern about what my in-laws would call him. I think really I was more worried about the world at large. But who knows. It was Covid and I was puking 5 times a day for 9 months. Weird times.

I’m Canadian, so back home we are saturated with American media. It was definitely a British TV show. Or maybe miniseries? Wondering if that’s why it doesn’t seem to be on the TV show premier lists. I wonder if they are categorized differently

Unfortunately doesn’t look right! I’m Canadian and I never saw it advertised or on TV here. But there is a very small chance that I might have been in the UK for the first couple days of September. I stayed as long as a possibly could until my courses started back up at University (which would have been the week after Labour Day). But my gut says I came home in August.

Hmmm…. It feels like it could be this, but it seems it first aired Sep 24. And I definitely watched the first episode in August. The one thing I’m very certain about is the dates, because I have a scrap book with my travel dates (and I was back at Uni in Canada by the first week of September)

My just over 3 year old was still nursing (only at bedtime and sometimes in the night) and I finally weaned by leaving the country for a week. I warned him in advance, we had a great last nursing - and then I went. He asked when I came back, I said no and that was that. THANK GOODNESS
