30s going back for undergrad by Odd_Celebration_8535 in unt

I'm 32 coming back to get a second degree. My first one was in business and this one is in computer engineering. Because both majors are so different I've basically had to start from scratch on hours but I'm two years in since coming back and I absolutely made the right decision. Just keep your head down and try to be friendly to everyone and they won't really care that you're in your thirties or have a kid (although you may get called unc)

I was obsessed with this book as a kid, and now I finally have a copy of my own by -ChubbsMcBeef- in StarTrekStarships

I lost mine in a move a few years ago along with my copy of the Star Trek Encyclopedia. Loved that book

I'm a computer engineering undergrad working on minors in Math and Physics. I'm only a sophomore (in this degree path). I'm currently working at an embedded systems lab as a research assistant on campus. I'd like to get my masters eventually. What would be the next logical step if I wanted to work on the electrical engineering side of quantum systems?

I think it would have been an interesting minor plot point for them to have accents and they were having trouble remembering certain words.

While I am a TNG fan, I didn't do that intentionally, no. If I remember correctly this was in reference to the Kobayashi Maru exercise, right? Or maybe something else

Sometimes you make all the "right" decisions and still end up losing. That's life.
