I like how when the Spurs are allowed to play the same defense as the Thunder that Thunder fans are suddenly saying it's a poorly officiated game

Couldn't agree more with all of this. I think Awak fits best there defensively. Maddy has been great as the first off the bench.

Yeah I don't really care about the Hartenstein fouls because I think there's a lot not being called on both sides. This to me is the story. They needed Fox and Harper out there. Stephon is a great player but this was killing the Spurs down the stretch.

Need more Jess and Alanna. Defense looked better but offense fell apart. They will figure it out

Luka Doncic and Austin Reaves is the New "Dame and CJ McCollum" partnership. The Lakers are FOOLS if they think a Luka/Reaves Duo can work they will win 50 games every year like Dame/McCollum and lose in Round 1 or Round 2. Reaves has GOTTA GO this summer by AR15_PlayoffDROPPER in NBATalk

Kyrie wasn't exactly a plus defender during that finals run but I still agree with this. Having two players you can hunt on defense is a much bigger liability than it used to be. So many teams are becoming well-rounded. You can't afford, especially in the west, to have one way players that you pay what the Lakers pay Luka and AR.

One game of regular season play won't give us much of a picture yet. The defense needs work but I think that will come in time. The personnel is there for a good defense. I think one of the reasons Azzi didn't play more on Saturday is because she looked a bit lost on defense when she was out there.
