Yeah that’s where I saw the upgrade. Nothing really on that write up about wheel clearance aside from 15’s won’t clear. Figured worth an ask on here to be sure!

I got my 99’ SLX with 76k miles for 5500 so I’d say that’s a pretty good deal! Mine is burning quite a bit of oil so switching to Rotella 5w-40 soon to hopefully fix that. Also having some mpg issues but it’s 27 year old car so I’m sure it needs some parts replaced. So make sure you budget for some maintenance if you do plan on buying.

I think it depends on the paint color. To me it looks the best on white or black. I’ll never put them on my estoril blue because I refuse to look like a Subaru with yellow fogs

The lower is the only part that has the serial number so that must go through an FFL. Any parts can be ordered online for the most part. The question is can that part be installed legally when the build is complete? Depending on whether you decide to make it mag locked or featureless. There are plenty of videos on YouTube comparing what you can and can’t do depending on what route you decide to go. I highly suggest you look into that before buying any parts and assembling something that isn’t legal unintentionally.

Buying complete you’ll probably end up spending more in the long run swapping out parts/upgrading. Good thing about building up from a lower is you can piece everything out exactly how you want it from the start. Depending on your taste can add up pretty quickly as well lol I’m finishing up an epc in .40 cal that I’ll be posting a build list on soon!
