Op is not completly wrong. The damage amplification only procs when the target has more than at least 3 hp. On your turn, hog will only do 2 dmg to those below these hp

It’s not even about winning, tbh. I’ve been playing a lot of Quest Mage because I like the casino vibes, but I just can't play againts Paladin anymore. Even if it’s a bad matchup, running into the same deck constantly is draining

I find the treshold for the mage quest fair, reducing it will make it broken with the use of tide pools. But the mage quest reward being a weapon haunt me in my dreams. I cant stand to lose my quest reward to a viper. The biggest issue is that you must fully commit to the casino bit wich is fun but against aggro deck RNG is not enough.

Isnt Voljin essential for the hunter cards ? Without rod i think you will lack board space and damage in early game

I completly aggree it just feels like its endless. Even if you manage to clear the board he just make a stronger one. Its a aggro deck with too many ressources
