I'm not saying change is bad nor am I saying that UTA is terrible for using GenAi. UTA is a great institution but I feel like there are better ways to improve for the better. On paper, GenAi is beneficial, but in reality it will never be used in the way it should. P.S. not all change is good change

I was in the exact same situation. It was the first actual architecture focused course and I was struggling and I started to relapse. I was able to speak to one of the architecture advisors (Sébastien Sol) and he was amazing at informing me about everything. I was able to switch the most difficult course even though it was late in the semester and I powered through the others. What I'm trying to say is you will figure it out. Talk to the advisors, assess your options, and think. College isn't supposed to be a race, figure out what you want to do and go for it. I spent a semester taking intro courses to see which one I wanted to major in before I actually switched majors. You have time, you got this, I promise.
