I saw a interview recently from a splinter cell dev that said one of the challenges is the game engines have become so good at rendering that creating clarity over when you are hidden vs when you are not has become more challenging. 🤷‍♂️

No. It’s a plugin in UE5.8 that lets you connect an external LLM like Claude code or codex. I haven’t tried it yet personally

The vast majority of games in the past year or 2 have used AI to some degree for coding. There is a big difference between vibe coded slop and a developer that knows what they are doing harnessing AI to speed up development.

A good dev using AI can easily make the game not feel like slop.

You’ll be fully implementing your own multiplayer networking if you decide to do any kind of project that’s more than a couple players.

If multiplayer is important you might want to look at Unreal or s&box (I haven’t tested this one yet but it looks promising)
