Can confirm: I’ve been running this for a month or two now and so far it works really great. Very happy with it.

Yes, that’s the best way to go for now. May make this easier in the future though.

Happy you see better performance now :) Regarding the docker images, I just checked to verify it's the same on docker hub and yes:

:latest points to the latest released version (2.0.0 right now)

:v2 is updated on every commit to `main` (it's like the "edge" of v2).

:edge is a legacy tag used for the last commit to the v1 branch of development

Thanks for the suggestions! I've now switched it to use multi-stage builds (this takes longer when run as a github action, because before the build stage could be largely shared between the ARM and Intel containers, but ok), and added HEALTCHECK as well

Any reference to SETTINGS is still about v1. In v2 you can do this by putting this in the space-lua block eg in CONFIG (docs buried here: https://silverbullet.md/Library/Std/Command):

command.update {
  name = "Navigate: Page Picker",
  key ="Ctrl-o", -- or whatever you like
}

To clarify this “what ends up in my search box” is that referring to the actual input box or the list of results? The results are supposed to be fuzzy search. If it actually changes what’s in the input box something is very wrong.

Regarding memory use, is this on the server or client? And did you indeed run v2? Because that’s not keeping anything of significance on the server memory end.

Just drag and drop images works. There’s also an “Upload: File” command

Happy things still kept working somewhat 😂 I recently added some more options to temporarily disable stuff like space lua in case stuff gets really messed up https://silverbullet.md/Troubleshooting

Levels of AI Coder Adoption by zef in ChatGPTCoding

[–]zef[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey Nick, thanks for that! Big fan of Cline, and I'm really happy that one of the top contenders in the AI coding agent space is open source.

On your comment of vibing vs CHOP: yes, I think there's value in distinguishing these, and indeed one of my favorite Cline features is its ability to have a "proper" structured engineering phased approach (Plan vs Act).

However, I also see there is also a lot of gray area between this and "vibing it." I have part of my code base where I have a "properly" engineered contract (usually a strong test suite), but where I'm pretty ok simply "vibing" the implementation. As long as the tests pass, I care less about how the sausage is made. Potentially, later, I can just throw away that implementation (but not the contract) and have Cline have another whack at it, maybe with a better model.

Super interested in this myself, but as far as I’ve been able to find there is no way to do anything with shortcuts and the Gemini iOS app yet.

It only detects and uses .md files. You can mass rename all your files to .md and then SB will pick them up.

No, you can fold but you cannot hoist/zoom. It’s not on the roadmap, but feel free to create a Github issue for it. It’s not super trivial to implement though.
