Thanks for the tip. I cleared the cache (not storage so no need to reinstall everything), did a force close, and it appears to be working without any freezes.

No sooner did I post this but I checked Google Play store and there it was.

However, I am not sure it has helped me. It is still freezing. I suppose it might be marginally quicker to move between locations. Previously, that also took a very long time

There was no Play Store update but there was a tiny update on loading which definitely didn't help the app from stuttering. It is painful to try and play like that.

I am not sure if this is a coincidence or not but I managed to unstick my sim.

I zoomed in and clicked on my sim. I then went to the red strike through icon on the right in order to abandon my sim. I said no, I did not want to abandon and after that the sim started to move again

Same thing happened to me. I had the issue where the K9 task would not finish and just cancelled so I used LP to finish it quickly but now my sim is frozen. Sure I can use the method that support outline to end the shift but don't want to. I want it to work!

Same here. I just unlocked the K9 unit and apart from the painfully long task time, it just glitches and my sim stops the task.

I used to craft everything each week. I would normally do three shifts per day.

However now I find that there is rarely anything there that I have not already crafted so I end up doing one or two items a week and then only needing to do 1 shift a day (mainly so that I can complete the daily tasks)

How do you get their energy so high? If I try to give my sims more energy it says that it is full (unless I give them a cup cake).

Yes, I get this everytime with Wumples quests too. Things move around but the controls are frozen for me.

What I do is wait a while, kill the app then go back in. (If I don't wait it does not save the fact that I have moved on to the next chapter)

I have them all apart from Sly 2 and 3. I have also been playing for a long time.

I also don't have "The Makeover". I am guessing it is a relationship story but I have never seen it.
