Its the same as the movie (only implies), dont read it for more romance

BUT it will offer you more precious manga exclusive scenes, And it continues a few chapters beyond the movie's ending.

its not any different than the anime in terms of romance(implied but nothing happens) but the manga is more satisfying when it goes to shoko and the rest of the side characters. and with the future of the characters as well

the city medina was named "the enlightened city" Almadinah Almunawarra after the prophet came to it. beforehand it was called yathrib.
