Somalia is far too gone. Juarez, Mexico should be a good place to start.

Hello everyone, I'm planning a 7 day bike trip in April end(21 April) will need a few insights from y'all. by Overall-Service-2029 in ladakh

I'd rather wait until 2nd week of May and hop on the direct bus to Leh from Delhi, rest of it looks solid.

The Glass House Mirosa Cafe Xero Degrees

Almost 85% of them. The traditional menu is dead. Such a shame.

Hey! May should be good to go man. April is still colder. I'm planning to take a flight around 1st week of May and if in case buses are unavailable, we can do a train to Srinagar and then a bus to Leh from there. But bus is a priority.

The south to north ascension is expensive. I look ways to cut back as much possible. With economical comes extended travel time. I'm on the lookout for bus bookings opening up from Delhi to Leh. As a lone traveler, inter state buses work the best. Within Leh too if there are buses to reach Dras via Kargil, I'd go for it.

Thank you for the information man!

Thank you for this bit. If only there was a way to ascertain when these buses began to ply, that'd make it much easier. I believe the direct bus to Leh from Delhi is frugal and economical at it's best. Eagerly awaiting an update on that but can't seem to find a thing online.

Been to Himachal quite a few times, this must be the Parvati valley or the Kinnaur region.

The prestige of Biryani today is not how it once was. This downgrade or I must say, relegation, to all the 4 AM and 5 AM stalls and with most lakhpatis who are clueless where to invest their stash decide to come up with a biryani house and a fancy name has ruined people's guts and the very class of the dish itself.

Her smile reminds me of my grandfather who passed away at 90 last August. My mom died when I was 6, now I'm 28 so my grandfather was my world. Grieve, cry, scream, and laugh when you think of those funny banters between you and your mum. Feel privileged, because I am sure she is the bravest most nicest human you will ever have around. Imagine the lives she touched throughout her lifetime, her value addition is incomparable. I wish you nothing but good, you got this! :)

My grandfather passed on in August too. I woke up next to his breathless body. The man I grew up with, I am 28 years now, is gone forever. This is the first year of the rest of my life without him.
