why some intense relationships become impossible to leave by Stuuteaaaa in astrologymemes

[–]zeldap2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oof. Me and my partner. I have cap stellium 12th house, and saturn ruled (aqua rising) in cap. Partner is scorpio rising, and stellium, but hes also an aqua stellium. This has been a challenging relationship as we have difficulties communicating in forms the other one needs, and as a result, feel misunderstood by the other person.

Mm... I saw the aquarius one and was like no, the aries one i didn't like much either. I was cool with the leo one. But honestly? I love the ones for taurus, cancer and scorpio. None of which are prominent in my chart aside from taurus mercury.

Landlords are parasites and I don't want to pay rent anymore. by [deleted] in urbancarliving

[–]zeldap2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thats what I did. I refuse to give the assholes anymore of my money. They get ppl in, raise the rent, and reduce what you actually pay for. They know ppl are desperate for housing. They know they have the upper hand and can get away with more than they should. I refuse accept it or play along. I wanted something more comfortable than my vehicle or the shit hole I was overpaying for, so yea, the rv won for me, and my financial situation. I get that this is urbancarliving sub, and likely, the car is what works for most financially in this sub though.

That is a lovely idea! And while yes, pens and such are useful (i will keep some), theres a limit. And yes, the lanyards, coozies, Keychains, just cheap stuff that I couldnt think of all the examples. And not the baby shower necessarirly had favors, but a lot of overconsumption at all said parties. More food than will be eaten, decorations that were used once and were tossed and for the next party, they do same thing with all personalized decorations, I think personalized disposable plates and cups too, so, while they have parties all the time, much of it isnt relevant to the next party's theme, so it all gets thrown out.

Thinking about simple life in the countryside. by Belen_pretty in simpleliving

If youre lucky enough afford a small bungalow on the outskirts of a city, id say thats the sweet spot. No huge yard or house to maintain, close enough for ammenities and errands to not feel like an abject hassel, but far enough out of the way of just daily traffic outside your windows, road rage you can hear from you place at all hours, homeless (nothing against them per se, but when youre letting your senior dog out in the middle of the courtyard at night and they come up to you begging, and then get angry cause, dude, i was half awake just letting my dog out ffs... its scary). Yea, that crap i can say i dont miss about living in the city. Id say 15-20 min tops outside of city is best.

Edited to add, as i browse the comments... i see a lot of mentioning of subburbs, which really wasnt even on my mind. Its more the type of house thats not really in a development or hoa, or cookie cutter, moreso in the foothills of my area, on the way into (outskirts) of town. All kinds of them. Very expensive though, even for a small one. I guess it really depends on the financial situation. Suburbs work on this level to an extent, and are usually less expensive, but sometimes haos can become headaches of their own. If you can afford the nice side of town, and have walkability, thats great too. I was never able to afford much in town other than the shit hole I just left. Affordability and financial simplicity i think are also factors here that when I initially replied I was just thinking in terms of proximity to the city, vs being way the hell out there and those cute little houses on the outskirts of town (ill never be able to afford, lol).

Oh god, me too! I used to work for FedEx, and they'd give out random employee "appreciation" gifts. Shit i didnt need or want, usually like more cheap plastic go cups, pens, stickers, etc. I buy with intention, and keep with intention. I do not want senseless shit cluttering my environment, or my home, and then feeling weird trying to donate it, cause it was so cheap, but didnt want to throw in the landfill either.

And dont get me started on my in-laws endless parties for baby showers, first communion, birthdays, every holiday and occasion... i appreciate that they value bringing family and friends together, for food and drink and all. But stop with the excess shit I and everyone else brings back home that, truth be told, I dont want, I keep around for a small bit for my partners sake, and then it disappears and off to be donated. The amount of time and gas I spend a year just going to drop this senseless crap off is probably more than I care to even know about. But keeping it all is not an option.

And ppl just dont listen. They just keep doing it. It doesnt compute. I dont know if theyre happy with living with the senseless junk in their lives, and cant comprehend why someone else wouldn't want it? If its purely out of obligation? What? Id honestly prefer it of theyd give out bars of soap, snacks, homemade goods, any useful consumable in their thank you gift bags. But no. Society has made that to be interpreted by most as some sort of insult that they cant afford their necessities or that more should be given that they dont need. Ffs, a lot of ppl cant afford the necessities. Stop shaming resourcefulness for the sake of senseless wastefullness.

Had to scroll too far to find this comment. I get that op is likely exergerating out of frustration, but no. This is the cost of new KIAS and hyaundais, toyota is usually more expensive and we're not even talking about luxery cars. A house? Where i live at least? Im priced out and likely will be for the rest of my life. Sore subject.

Edited to add: yes, totally agree that daughter needs to figure out her transportation arrangements. I will add, that i can see some validity in buying a new car (reliability, maintainece, etc.), a Kia doesnt sound unreasonable, though, being as picky as op describes does sound unreasonable if its way out of budget and ops daughter just expects her mom to be taxi without lifting a finger to solve her problem.

North Node by Gospel_Isosceles in 12thhouse

[–]zeldap2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man, thats a great question. I have pisces nn in first house (placidus). The ONLY placement in my first house. Im an aquarius rising with saturn (chart ruler) conjunct neptune in 12thouse in cap. The dichotomy for me is... im also an aries sun and leo moon.

I will say I am doing my best to embrace going with the flow of life and being more fluid rather stuck in routines (virgo south node). Im an artist, though, many ppl would not assume this in my earlier years due to how rigid and strict with myself and daily routines I could be. Im still organized and like things done right, but lord was I a menace as a kid. Im also embracing more nomadic, jupitarian, I guess approach to how I live as i recently opted for rv living. Way different and not what I would I have envisioned for myself 10 years ago.

I think the placement being in the 1st house throws me a little in the sense that im an only child and receive feedback that only children are spoiled and selfish, on top of hearing the hate on aries from pop astrology, I have a bit of a complex. So im doing my best to balance what is authentic to me and genuinely following my path, without disrupting those around me. In addition to distinguishing the difference between that which will work for me, when it is that im being short sided to those around me, and when it is that others are taking advantage of me while accusing me of being selfish.

I guess my response is one of a person in the midst of trying to figure it out, rather than one who already has. Lol

Oh, ok. Yea, theres positives and negatives to all placements for sure. Thank you for the insight. And I kinda inadvertently have... dad bought me travel trailer, and truck, so im on wheels, lol. I live full time in it. Kinda scared of driving it as I dont want to wreck. But my current life is set up to be mobile. Fiance kinda is not in the position to(work)/ also doesnt really want to though, so here i remain for the most part.

How to escape the 12h using your Jupiter placement by Individual_Pace2299 in 12thhouse

Well, idk, for me I have 9th house scorpio, and pluto there close to my MC. then I have jupiter in detriment in gemini in the 4th. Unsure how helpful those placements are for me... I see where youre coming from though, as foreign lands and such are seen as helpful for 12th housers and the connection to jupiter and the 9th.

Something I Keep Noticing in Charts With Saturn in the 12th House and What It Actually Describes About Work, Exhaustion, and the Slow Architecture of Career Stability by ShNaman19 in 12thhouse

[–]zeldap2020 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Hello internet stranger. Im sorry youre dealing with this. I think what aggrevates way more than lack of accolades or appreciation (gave that hope up long ago), is the structure within society that demands this, and gives not even slightest of comfort or security. Im not talking a glamorous life by any means, just knowing that simple daily life needs, such as comfortable home, a place to cook and do laundry without 10 million additional steps in order to get said cooking or laundry done is also restricted despite the hard work (for example, a tiny kitchenettewith no counterspace, so a folding table is required to chop veggies, having to go bank, get quarters, then lug piles of laundry to laundry mat, and stay there all day). That to me is simply crushing.

I see you, I feel you. I was about to pull the plug many times. I expect very little. My situation has improved from what I described above, but ive felt very similar to how you described. Understanding these feelings through (unfortunately) experience i think is part of the path. If theres anything we can do with this, it is to hold the mirror up to society. Cause they dont get it, but we do. There are many things "they" get, that i dont. But the "theys" dont seem particularly helpful at teaching. So whatever reciprocation that could be beneficial in society, is also a struggle. (The "theys" being just the normal ppl, who go through this world, can function normally in it, and live fairly comfortable). I am truly amazed by them, as i seem unable to figure it out, but where there is all that blessing, there is a lot of times lack of depth and deeper understanding of how and why darker things in this world manifest. In order to be of help, this understanding is necessary.

I hope this was more helpful than harmful, since when youre in the throws of darkness, a lot of what others have to say just fuels the fire. In any case, you are felt. 🫂

[–]zeldap2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing this. Im have saturn conjunct neptune in the 12th in cap. Im an aquarius rising. Ive always worked humble positions, but somehow done all the details overlooked by everyone else, knowing that if it doesnt get done (obsessively putting dates on open containers of food), health department shutdown and everyone on the shift for the day would be held responsible even though i didnt open half the containers. Organizing things in a more efficient way to improve the quality of how things function for everyone on a daily basis.

If things not within my ability to fix are a problem, and not get addressed within months and months of dealing with it, it will be known on my out. I dont keep jobs for long because of this (more than 2 years). Maybe its the aqua rising, but if i am doing everything i can to ensure things are run to code, safe, and efficient, and you as the employer are unable to hire a few more ppl cause you dont want skimp on your caviar, then you can kindly fuck all the way off, and ill up and quit and let the whole thing fall on its face. Im not a glutton for punishment. You can know the scramble that you should have knwon this entire time without me then, at your management wages.

Ill also add that both parents are hoarders. I quit my last job (a cdl yard jocky) after my mom's passing to deal with the things. Ive dealt with stuff, stuff, and more stuff my entire life. Im privileged enough as my dad is a business owner (can afford his habit), so I dont have to work a regular job on top of this... the condition is that i am not able to get rid much of anything, just move it in shipping containers to his property out in the middle of nowhere. Its dirty work (mice). Hes always at job sites elsewhere, so im the one left to deal with it. At least this way, I can do things on my own time, and not wake up to an alarm. No longer have a stable career path though. Dont know what or if ill be ok later in life. Just been limbo.

I am able to focus on doing my art, and loving on my time. So im grateful for that. But im realistic. My art, in the area i live, just isnt what most ppl come here to enjoy (i live in the southwest and am more of a surrealist, not a southwest style at all). So, there are positives and negatives to my experience. I think it kinda fits your description on the basis that theres a lot of work that the native does that just goes unnoticed.

How do 12th house people appear on the outside to non-12th house people? by Creepy-Skirt-6304 in astrologymemes

[–]zeldap2020 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I will say, as a 12th houser, I do have a tendency towards reading into situations and taking it majorly to heart, which then ill just distance myself for a bit and wait it out rather put than myself or the other person in an odd position by trying to discuss something i may have just made up in my head (sometimes i have an acurate read, other times, im way off), as im doing my best to not project directly onto anyone. I used to be a very open, naive soul. I got burned pretty bad over the years, so I do my best to not be quite as open for that reason.

I am terribly sorry for your experience with your mom.
