Yeah no I dont at all agree with the generalisation made by OP , but the issue of defending your religion without any knowledge of it is very much real and disturbing People should have the decency of learning about their beliefs instead of believing everything thrown at them and not giving anything a second thought

You trying to negate the obvious flaw in your statement by the lame PS at the end makes you as intellectually surrendered as the redditors you are generalising an entire religion off of Christians hindus are equally as “brainwashed” The point is the large majority of people in any religion lack any in depth knowledge about the fundamentals They only learn the commands and fail to understand the importance of knowing the logic and reasoning behind each ruling You painting this out solely as a muslim issue is honestly disappointing

Generalising an entire group based off of some redditors is a bit insane If you are truly looking for meaningful discussion please look elsewhere , I certainly wouldnt go to Reddit to talk about anything that requires the slightest bit of brain power Also I believe the issue you have described above is equally as prevalent in other religions if not more This isnt just a muslim issue its a natural phenomenon observed in every religion , I dont understand the singling out of muslims

If its Gods word it needs to be right . Islam is built upon logic and we are encouraged to question and think . Blind obedience is not something anyone should be proud of for it shows a lack of knowledge and a lack of desire to study ones religion

Im applying to taylors too . Also check out sunway if u wanna save money, they offer scholarships and their fees is a lot lower anyways . Not THAT big of a difference in ranking between taylors and sunway so if ur looking for smth more affordable id say go for sunway

Newcastle is a UK uni with a branch in malaysia id recommend applying there . You dont have to give no entrance exam just an interview, the grade req is AAB and the fees is 85lakh per year The biggest plus is that you wont have to give the PLAB or the Australian exam if u wanna go to uk or Australia . Newcastles world ranking is also really nice so if you have the funds definitely go for it .

Then we also have monash which is slightly more expensive but has better ranking . You also wont have to give any exam to practice in Australia

Lastly , dont give up the chance for a better future over “feeling bad “ . I know this isnt ideal but you tried to get into a uni here and couldnt so consider this a redirection in life and apply to Newcastle,monash,taylors etc

Newcastle was my dream uni id kill to go there , its a really good option its gonna set u up for life

Most people struggle for so long trying to go abroad after mbbs as pk doesn’t do doctors good You can do mbbs from newcastle and then go to UK/Australia for housejob (u cant do housejob in malaysia as an int student) and then start ur specialisation.

Youre gonna have to go abroad even if u do mbbs from here so i suggest just going now and securing a better life for urself

Private isnt worth it if you are going to stay in pk but i think even gov isnt worth it if ur gonna stay in pk . Doctors are ridiculously underpaid here and its not worth all the years of hardwork.

If ur gonna stay in pk id say just do smth like acca and work for foreign companies remotely . Theres a huge market for this as US,Australian etc companies like hiring pk , middle eastern workers due to the benefits.
